♥ Jealous? ♥

Coby's excitement was hard to contain as she stepped outside and saw Stefan's Rolls-Royce parked in the driveway. She'd never been in a car like this before, let alone one that belonged to someone as wealthy as Stefan. The sleek black exterior gleamed under the sun, and Coby couldn't help but grin as Stefan draped his suit in a cover and placed it carefully in the back seat.

"Get in the car," Stefan instructed, his tone as cool as ever.

Coby almost skipped over to the passenger side, trying to play it cool, but the thrill was written all over her face. When Stefan unlocked the doors with a quick press of a button, she slid into the seat with a soft gasp.

The interior was beyond luxurious. The seats were upholstered in rich, buttery-soft tan leather that felt smooth under her fingertips. The dashboard was a polished dark wood with chrome accents, giving the car a timeless elegance. The infotainment system was seamlessly integrated, with a large touchscreen displaying all kinds of controls and options that Coby had no idea how to use. The rearview mirror was sleek and frameless, and even the smell of the car was intoxicating—a combination of new leather and the faintest hint of Stefan's cologne.

She couldn't resist running her hand over the dashboard, feeling the cool, smooth surface beneath her palm. "Wow, this is amazing," she breathed, marveling at the craftsmanship.

"Don't touch anything," Stefan said sternly, glancing at her from the corner of his eye.

Coby quickly retracted her hand, mumbling, "Sorry, it's just so… nice."

Stefan didn't reply, instead pressing the start button, and the engine purred to life. He smoothly backed out of the driveway, and as they drove toward the gate, Coby spotted Todd standing there, giving a little wave.

Coby rolled down the window and waved enthusiastically. "Bye, Todd!" she called out, grinning.

Stefan raised an eyebrow as he guided the car onto the main road. "Have you become friends with Todd now?" he asked, his tone slightly teasing.

"Yup!" Coby replied, settling into her seat. "Todd's cool. And so is Tenzin."

Stefan's expression tightened ever so slightly, a flicker of something crossing his face. "Is that so?" he said, his voice laced with a hint of jealousy. "Maybe I should be worried you're making friends with all my staff."

Coby rolled her eyes and gave him a look that clearly said she wasn't buying his act. "What's that supposed to mean? Are you afraid they might convince me to mutiny against you?"

Stefan let out a dry laugh. "No, just wondering if I'm going to be replaced as your boss."

Coby smirked. "Well, Todd doesn't make me do laundry or clean up after his messes, so he's already winning."

Stefan shook his head, smiling despite himself. "You're impossible."

They drove in silence for a moment before Coby spoke up again. "By the way, when's Tenzin coming back?"

Stefan's grip tightened on the steering wheel, but he kept his expression neutral. "I don't know. He didn't say."

Coby's shoulders slumped slightly as she muttered, "I miss him."

Stefan glanced at her, one eyebrow raised. "Or do you mean you miss his plates of noodles?"

Coby shot him a dirty look. "I miss Tenzin, okay? Not just his noodles. Besides, I wouldn't miss you, even if you came with a five-star menu."
