(A/N: I decided to do one more chapter of the characters P.O.V. and then go back to the real people's POV because I got the same amount of votes for both. Hope you like it!)
****Josh's P.O.V.****
"Do I have to?" I complained. Corey had just asked me to go to the party that Maya and Riley are at and make sure that they don't do anything bad.
"Yes you do, now go before I tell dad you won't listen to your big brother."
"But they're 16. They should be allowed to do go to a party without you sending me to spy on them."
"Topanga! Josh won't listen to me," Corey complained.
"Josh, listen to your older brother," Corey said in a horrible Topanga impression while hiding his mouth with his hand to make it seem like she was talking.
"Well, looks like she agrees with me, now go," he smiled.
"I swear, sometimes I seriously question if you are an adult," I muttered under my breath.
"What was that?" He asked, pretending he didn't hear me even though I know he did.
"Nothing. Bye!" I yelled, walking out the door and driving to this "Oliver" kids house.
I wonder how Maya is. I haven't seen her in a while. The last time I saw her was when she snuck into that party at my college. She has always intrigued me, but I could never date her. I mean, she is three years younger than me.
I let all these thoughts run through my head as I parked the car about 2 blocks down from his house since there was no room anywhere else. Geez, this is bigger than our college parties. I walked the distance to the house, letting random thoughts run through my head.
As soon as I opened the door, I felt a gust of warmth. There were sweaty bodies everywhere, dancing and kissing. I am seriously doubting that these are only high schoolers.
I looked around and saw Riley talking with some guy with brown hair who was smiling while he had his arm wrapped around her shoulder. She was beaming at him with his arm around her, she must really like him.
I looked around and couldn't seem to spot Maya anywhere. I looked around for her upstairs, but she wasn't in there. I came back downstairs and saw about a dozen couples making out on the dance floor. Gross.
I looked around and finally saw that blonde head of hair I was looking for. I smiled and started walking over there when I saw something that made me get a queasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. She was making out with some guy, and she had her legs wrapped around his waist.
I felt like crying and tried to turn my gaze away from them, but I couldn't force myself to. They kept making out for about 2 more minutes before Maya finally pulled away with a huge smile on her face before looking at me.
Her smile instantly dropped and she stared at me with shock. My legs and eyes finally obeyed my commands, and I ran off as far as I could. I ran out of the house and down the street, not paying attention to anything. My vision was blurred from all my tears.
Why was I so hurt by this? It's not like I am her boyfriend or something. She's like a sister to me, so why do I feel so bad about this. I feel so betrayed by her. By the one person I thought could never hurt me. I guess I do like her, but I know I can't tell her that I like her.
I saw the way she looked at that guy before she saw me. She looked in his eyes with love and happiness. She used to look at me like that. With all these thoughts running through my head, I went the one place I knew that I could be supported in. And that was at my cousin Horace's work. Mighty Med
