-Time skip: Friday-
Aunt Mavis handed over our designated rooms, for when we arrived at the beach.
I was placed with Levy-chan and Erza in room 405.
We had to wait on our classroom for the remaining student, who hasn't arrived yet.
I leaned on the window and plugged my earphones on, then listened to music before closing my eyes briefly.
My right side earphone was being removed and I shot up only to find Natsu listening in.
He squeezed himself on my right side trying make both of us fit in a one small chair.
"What are you doing?" I eyed him questioningly.
"Hogging my best friend all to myself!" he grinned widely then eyed me seriously.
He eyed my outfit, to be exact, and he seems to be annoyed with it.
"Why didn't you wear the clothes you bought on the store?" he asked.
"What's wrong with what I'm wearing now?" I countered.
"From the look of things, you look like you're going to the gym instead of the beach." He answered bluntly.
I shrugged.
I was wearing a black jacket with a light blue tank top and my traditional gray baggy pants.
"Seriously, loosen up! We're going to the beach!" he proclaimed.
"Meh." I rolled my eyes and didn't care.
"Alright! I believe we have everyone!" Aunt Mavis declared as she studies carefully the papers she's holding for attendance.
Everybody roared in excitement and I couldn't help but feel giddy myself.
"Lu-chan, Uh... I'm sorry... I can't seat with you in the bus... Gajeel and I are seating together." She whispered and bowed apologetically as she crouched in front of me since Natsu's blocking the way.
I sighed in defeat and ruffled her hair.
"It's fine! We're going to be staying on the same room anyways!" I encouraged her.
"Really? You're not mad? Lu-chan, you're the best!" she hugged me tightly and ran off to who-knows-where then I giggled.
"You really do have a big heart, you know." Natsu whispered in my right ear, sending shivers down my spine.
"W-What do you mean?" I shivered as I inhaled the minty warm breath of his.
"I just love how you're dense and a genius at the same time!" he cheered.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I debated.
"I'll be your bus buddy, Lucy!" he declared out of the blue.
"And why, May I ask?" I queried raising an eyebrow at him.
"Well... Maybe because we are the best of friends and I am not letting you off my sight!" he grinned childishly.
"Yeah. Whatever you say." I mirrored his grin.
"Alright everyone! Line up!" Aunt Mavis commanded and we all stood up then headed towards the door.
Aunt Mavis directed us on the bus that says Vermilion.
I picked a seat by the back and sat beside the window.
Natsu crashed himself beside me and gave me a huge bear hug.
"Natsu. Get off! You're choking me, you dork!" I chuckled.
