Natsu POV
-Time Skip: 4 years later-
Arriving at Narita Airport.
The fresh air...
I missed this place...
Damn. That 14 hours flight, really sucked my energy inside and out!
Can't wait to see her!
I missed her...
I went straight to the Dragneel's main house.
I dropped my luggage to my room and greeted my brother.
"Oi Nii-san, Congratulations!" I cheered and we bro-fist.
"Thanks!" he smiled.
"Where's dad?" I asked.
"In his office. That reminds me, he asked to meet both of us." Nii-san recalled and I nodded.
We walked to dad's office and he looked over to us then showed a wide toothy grin.
He stood up and hugged both, nii-san and I.
"My family's complete, again." He sighed happily.
"Welcome back, son." He whispered to me and ruffled my hair.
"I called you both today, to let you know your reality tasks." He started off seriously.
"I'll have the company, split in half for you both." Dad continued.
Nii-san and I groaned.
"Now, boys. The reason I'm doing this is because you're going to have your own family, soon. Especially you, Zeref." My dad pointed out and Zeref shrugged it off.
"Natsu, you will handle the local marketing and Zeref will handle the international merchandises." He continued.
"Dad, Natsu just got back. Can't we like bond or something? I'm getting married next week!" Zeref stated, looking very exasperated and dad chuckled.
"Alright. Alright." Dad stated calmly.
We chatted for a bit and ate in a fancy restaurant.
"Uh, dad. I wanted to go and visit Lucy, real quick." I asked his permission, and he tensed alongside nii-san.
"Is there something, I'm missing here?" I questioned, furrowing my eyebrows in the process.
"Uh... Natsu, Lucy's not here..." Dad stated, nervously.
"Where is she?" I asked, wanting to panic.
"She left Japan, four years ago." Nii-san stated.
"WHAT?" I screamed and banged the table.
"Natsu, calm down." Dad tried to soothe me.
"Where is she?" I inquired, trying to relax.
"We don't know. Even Jude, Mavis, or Jellal won't tell us." Nii-san answered.
"W-Why?" I gasped in shock and I felt hurt.
Why would she hide it from me?
Now, that I'm ready.
Wasn't I the first one, to leave her?
I deserve this.
But
I won't give up.
I'll wait until the day she returns.
"We need to give her some space, Natsu." Dad stated and all I did was nod.
