I watched Natsu passed out and the worst part was on the water.

I wore his shirt and dragged him out of the ocean then carried him by his shoulder to the 24/7 infirmary in the hotel.

"Nurse! There's something wrong with my best friend!" I exclaimed in panic.

"Why? What happened?" she asked as she quickly studied him, and we dragged him on a hospital bed.

"Blood loss, I think?" I said unsure of what to say.

"Due to what?" she asked.

You're the nurse! You tell me!

"I honestly don't know! It's just that when we were swimming in the ocean his nose started to bleed then he passed out!" I say aggressively.

"Calm down. I'm sure he's fine. Do you know any of his medic history?" she asked.

"All I know was that his grandfather had diabetes, but he is still alive and kicking to this day. His grandmother died on a car accident. His mom had asthma when she was alive, but his brother has it- not him. His dad is acidic and sometimes being attacked by his acid reflux, does that help?" I rushed in panic as I held his hand.

I looked to see the nurse strangely staring at me in amusement.

"You sure know a lot about this man." She smirked playfully.

I have no time for this!

"That's because he's my best friend. Can we please go back to topic? I'm dying here!" I growled and she chuckled.

"Well, with the history you've mentioned. I found nothing dangerous that he may have inherited from his family genes. Stop panicking." She says as she pat my head.

"I can't." I mumbled as tears started to fall.

"I'm scared... I don't want to lose him..." I sobbed as I cried on his hand.

"He's not going anywhere. Why don't you take a rest first?" she gently asked.

I shook my head and continued sobbing on his hand.

"Natsu. Wake up!" I pleaded as tears fall involuntarily.

I cried and pleaded over and over again, until I blacked out from exhaustion.

A few moments later, I heard a faint conversation on the background.

"Lucy, what are you doing here?" someone whispered.

"She carried you here this morning when you passed out." A girl conversed from a distance.

I hear a faint gasp.

"She stayed up all morning crying and asking for you to wake up. She was shaking and panicking." The girl says softly.

"I remember, now. I'm sorry for worrying you, Lucy." I feel a light kiss on my hair and a hand caressing my cheeks.

I felt comfortable at the touch and I continued sleeping.

I woke up and found that it's already afternoon.

I stretched and found Natsu sitting up.

My eyes widen and I couldn't help but tackle him.

"Whoa. This is the first time you ever hugged me yourself! I should write this on my diary!" he chuckled and I smacked his head.

"Don't scare me like that ever again!" I growled and tears started to fall without my permission.

"And you don't own a diary, you fool!" I repeatedly hit his chest with my fist and he laughed then stopped.

His eyes softened at me and he cupped my left cheek to kiss the opposite side softly.

I felt myself blush and he chuckled.

"Since this is your first time hugging me, I should do something for the first time as well in return, right?" he grinned widely

I was speechless and I could still feel my cheeks burn.

"I never knew you had a crybaby side of you! It's cute!" he laughed, ruffling my hair.

"Mou..." I pouted and wiped my tears off.

"Don't scare me like that..." I mumbled silently.

"I understand. I won't." he says softly as he hugged me tightly and kissed me on the cheek.

"Ehem... If you two are done flirting you may take your leave, now." The nurse commented out of nowhere and we both blushed.

"WE'RE NOT FLIRTING!" we growled together and she smirked.

"Sure. Keep telling yourselves that." She teased, making us flush even more.

I rushed to get my towel and I looked to see Natsu staring at me.

I remembered that I was wearing Natsu's shirt.

I asked the nurse if there were any extra nurse uniform that I could borrow.

She nodded and went to get something in a closet then handed me a clean uniform.

I grabbed my stuff and the towel then launched on a nearby bathroom.

Wearing the nurse outfit and placing my hair on a ponytail, I walked out of the bathroom and handed Natsu his shirt back.

I noticed that it's too quiet and I turned to look at Natsu with his jaw dropped and his eyes twinkling.

"Oi Natsu?" I called him, but it seems he's caught on his own fantasy world.

"Hey!" I snapped my fingers in front of him, bringing his soul back to Earth.

"Yes Ma'am?" he awkwardly yelped.

"Ma'am?" I asked dubiously.

"Sorry!" he bowed in shame.

"Sorry for what? Spacing out?" I giggled.

He suddenly became quiet and turned to look at me awkwardly.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked with concern then I leaned forward and tried to reach his forehead.

When my hands were about to touch his forehead, he slapped it harshly making me pull back.

"Don't touch me." He sizzle.

This is the first time I see him acting like this.

"Natsu? What did I do?" I asked with worry.

"Just don't touch me!" he hissed with finality.

I was taken aback with the words and action I'm hearing for the first time, from him.

I felt my tears pouring down involuntarily then I covered my face and walked out quietly.

When I was about to close the door of the infirmary room, I hear a faint cuss and some squeaky noises from the bed then something unexpected happened.

Before I could even turn to him and react, I felt a set of warm arms from behind my back and it wrapped tightly around my waist pulling me back from completely walking out- then he closed the door.

He twirled me around using my waist then hugged me really tight, and leaned his head on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean what I said! It's just that you made me promise not to scare you a while ago, and when I saw you walking around in a nurse outfit, I felt the nosebleed kicking in." he explained then looked at me straight in the eyes to show his sincerity.

"I believe you." I say gently as I lightly touched his cheek and caressed it softly. He held my hand that was caressing his cheek and kissed it gently then we both laughed at the stupid misunderstanding.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot! Do not, under any circumstances, show this side of you to anyone else but me, got it?" he said lowly with a threatening tone while handing over the robe I used last night.

"Y-Yes." I stuttered as I shudder in fear.
