It's been 7 years.
7 years from the time I left Japan.
I'm at my own apartment, cooking myself dinner.
My laptop on the kitchen counter.
I'm still here in Massachusetts.
Tomorrow's my graduation for Business Administration and Management course.
This is my second course.
I finished my first one, three years ago.
The reason I took two course was that, one was my passion and the other was what my parent's initially wanted.
My family never pressured me to take it, but I still wanted to do it.
I never lost contact with my friends, aside from Natsu.
I still have no news about him.
I'm quite sure that my friends knows, but they refuse to tell me.
I understand them. It was my wish, anyway.
Should be fair, then.
He doesn't know anything about me.
I don't know anything about him.
Did he already have a change of heart?
Someone was calling me via Skype and it was Levy-chan!
My fashionista girlfriend!
I'm so proud of her!
She still keeps tab on me on how the others were doing.
I answered the call and there she is, my best friend!
"HEY LU-CHAN!" she greeted.
"Hey Levy-chan!" I chuckled as I responded her, while cooking.
"What'cha doing?" she asked.
"Well, you know- cooking my own dinner." I gleefully answered and she laughed.
"How's life?" she asked.
"I'm graduating tomorrow!" I cheered.
"Congratulations, Lu-chan! This is your second course, no?" she asked.
"Yup! And, it's finally over!" I danced in joy and Levy-chan laughed.
"Before I forget, Lu-chan. I wanted to invite you to my wedding, next month!" she giggled.
I stopped dancing.
Still processing what she meant.
Wedding?
"Oh My Gosh! You're going to get married! I wouldn't miss that for the world!" I cheered happily.
"You better not! You missed Gray and Juvia's wedding last year! The last time I saw you personally was 5 years ago, during Erza and Jellal's wedding in Chicago. I just wanted to make sure, that you wouldn't go missing-in-action in my special occasion! Don't you dare miss this wedding!" she eyed me threateningly and I gulped.
"O-of c-course. I-I wouldn't do such a thing." I stuttered, trying to reassure her.
"My gosh, Lu-chan. Look at you... You look stunning..." she says dreamily, as her eyes sparkle.
"Sure. Whatever you say, Levy-chan." I rolled my eyes at her as I focus briefly on cooking.
"I've decided. You're going to be my maid of honor!" she declared.
