{Althea's POV}
I was back in my school, I had took cookery in 9th grade, cause why not?
I grabbed the handle of the pan, hissing when it slightly burnt my hand.
"Hey! You alright?" I looked up to see one of my friends; Rhein.
"Yeah, just got burnt by the frickin' pan." I grumbled as the burning of my hand calmed down.
"You should be careful next time." Rhein scolded, while I just rolled my eyes.
"Anyway, how are you here? They say you were missing-" I cut Rhein off.
"WHAT." I spoke in disbelief, looking at Rhein.
"Yeah, you were gone for a few days here at school." Rhein said.
I groaned. "Why are people not investigating first?? My parents just took me and my brother to our cousins, it unfortunately being on 2 days of school." I explained, hoping Rhein would believe the lie.
"Huh, I knew I shouldn't have believed it." Rhein mumbled.
"YOU BELIEVED IT??" I said, Rhein just covered my mouth with her hand.
"Let's just go back to doing this cooking class..." Rhein spoke as she took her hand off my mouth.
I grumbled before quickly continuing my cue on the cooking.
