THE RETURN OF MARILYN AND GALE TO THORPE Abbots caused a cascade of emotions. The duo thanked the driver for the ride back, gathering their coats from the car and placing it around their shoulders. She smiled as she walked up to him, engulfing him in a hug as they reached each other. "Rosie." She called, watching him talk with Buck.
He waved to her, shaking her hand as she approached him. "Welcome back." He stated, a smile on his face as he talked to the girl. "Lemmons." Buck smiled, the teen was shocked to see the two. Everyone on base assumed they were dead. "Good to have you two back!" He called, waving to Marilyn. The breeze lifted her now long hair into the air. It fell against her back, unwashed and untouched. "Long hair suits you." Crosby said, glad to have his colleague back. "Had no choice but to grow it out." She responded. "You got a musette bag, ma'am?" Lemmons asked.
