FIVE YEARS LATER, THE COUPLE HAPPILY announced the birth of their daughter. The now family of four were living in the suburbs of Oregon, taking in life on the west coast as their family shifted. Their eldest son, age three, was born on the eighth of May, a special date for the pair in general. The eighth marked the date of the end of the war two years ago, the men and women would come to call it VE Day. Tears of joy were shared on that day as Marilyn held their son on her chest, Bucky's own tears threatened to fall as he watched his wife and newborn son.
Theodore, or Theo as Bucky liked to call him, brought a bright future to the couple. While they were terrified at first, never having been parents before, they soon got the hang of it. Marilyn would often brag about how easy Theodore was, making her even more excited when she found out she was expecting once again. The nine months were a breeze, John was there with her every step of the way as he was focused on keeping her as comfortable as possible.
However, after the introduction of Margaret, the baby girl took it upon herself to wreak havoc upon the family. Nights were often spent awake, John and Marilyn taking shifts as they went to attend to their daughter. Margaret was a daddy's girl from the very beginning, loving her father more as she was an infant. Theodore was generally uninterested in this behavior, and rather spent time with Marilyn, where ever she be.
