The early autumn sun casts a warm, golden hue over Konoha, making the village look inviting and vibrant. Kakashi arrives at Kurenai's home, his steps light and purposeful. He carries a small bag of freshly made Takoyaki, hoping to add a touch of joy to Yui's day.

It has been three weeks since Yui arrived in Konoha, and while her progress has been slow, Kakashi remains optimistic.

As he reaches the door, it swings open, and Kurenai greets him with a warm smile. Her relief is evident in the way her eyes soften when she sees Kakashi.

"Good afternoon, Kakashi," Kurenai says. "Yui is in the living room. She's been more receptive lately."

Kakashi nods, stepping inside. The familiar scent of Kurenai's home is comforting, and he heads straight to the living room. There, Yui sits by the window, her ghostly white hair falling around her like a curtain. She's watching the village outside with a mix of curiosity and apprehension. Her protective eyewear is firmly in place, hiding her crimson eyes from view.

"Hi, Yui," Kakashi says gently, placing the bag of Takoyaki on the table. "How are you today?"

Yui glances up at him, her eyes flickering with a trace of anxiety. "I'm... okay," she replies, her voice soft and tentative.

Kakashi smiles beneath his mask, glad to hear her speak. "That's good to hear. I brought something for us today. Would you like to try it?"

Yui's eyes flicker towards the bag, curiosity piqued. She nods slowly, her movements hesitant but eager. Kakashi takes out a piece of Takoyaki and hands it to her. Yui takes it with trembling fingers, her gaze still cast downward. She takes a cautious bite, and Kakashi watches her closely.

As the flavor hits her taste buds, Yui's eyes widen slightly behind her eyewear. Her expression softens, and for the first time since Kakashi met her, he sees a hint of genuine pleasure. A small, hesitant smile tugs at her lips.

"That's great," Kakashi says, his heart lifting at the sight of her smile. "I'm glad you like it."

After they finish their Takoyaki, Kakashi decides it's time for their daily outing. He's noticed that Yui seems to enjoy these excursions, even if she doesn't always show it.

They leave Kurenai's home and walk through the village, Kakashi making sure to keep the pace slow and steady. The village is bustling with activity, the lively atmosphere contrasting sharply with Yui's usual quiet demeanor.

As they walk, Kakashi talks about various sights—the vibrant market stalls, the towering Hokage Monument, and the serene gardens. Yui listens quietly, her responses limited to soft, brief words. She seems absorbed in her surroundings, though her movements remain cautious.

"And that's the Ninja Academy right there, that's where all young aspiring Shinobis are currently staying at to learn more about the vision of being a Ninja" Kakashi explains with a smile, pointing at the familiar building not that afar from them.

"Once you're ready, you'll be attending that school as well" He happily says to her, patting her head as he watches Yui's movements, greatly showing that she's very interested at the thought of learning. The Hatake couldn't help but chuckle in response before they continue to make their way.

Today, Kakashi decides to take a different route, one that leads them to a small park. It's a favorite spot for many of the village children, and Kakashi hopes the lively environment might help Yui feel more at ease.

As they approach the park, Kakashi spots a familiar young boy playing by himself. The boy's bright blonde hair and infectious laughter draw attention from passersby. He's energetically chasing after a small ball, his movements full of youthful energy.
