Chapter 9: the battle of Dragonstone - Part 1

The night came as Dragonstone was guarded by the night duty Quards, Alicent was with Bealon "according to the maester the sea will be misty I have given extra pay to the guards to keep an eye out on the ships" As Baelon was sorting himself with his Equipment.

Alicent nodded as she was in bed listening, it was her 9 months pregnant so she was in confinement for the last two weeks "Bealon let's not talk of such things tonight we should be excited for our baby who is very much eager to get out".

she chuckles "and I can not wait to have that child my darling alicent" suddenly she felt something she reached down and her eyes widened "my water has broken get the midwife" Bealon nodded and ran for the midwife.

The Greyjoy fleet arrived as the mist set in around midnight then the men lit the catapults with flame and let loose onto the unsuspecting Quardmans the catapults flew into the stairs of the dragon steps wiping out the men who were on duty on the dragon steps leading up towards dragonstone castle.

The next Catapults hit the front gates and the castle walls, then the Commander of the guards rang the alarm bells just before a catapult crashed right onto his head killing him instantly his corpse left laying on the ground completely on fire turning his skin into bone and ash.

by the sides of the castle the Tully, Baratheon stark and Lannister ships appeared shooting men on the lower areas of dragonstone with crossbows as the Targaryen guards and soldiers ran to shoot them back with their crossbows.

Inside dragonstone Bealon rushed to get the midwife as he hurried them along to go to alicents bedchamber he felt the rumple of the catapults outside the castle walls he needed to protect Alicent and the child that is coming as the battle began.

He raised his sword and rushed toward the battlefield Outside, ordering men to fire the Trepochaes at the enemy ships coming from the sides and centre.

Daemon Riding his dragon Caraxes flying back from watch notices what's happening from Above at dragonstone in Valerian Daemon orders caraxes to attack the enemy ships, as Daemon and caraxes fly down towards the enemy as he shouts.

"Dracarys" and flame began to engulf the enemy ships as men burned on the ships that were burning and collapsing around the men taking them down with the destroyed ships.

do the iron fleet somehow remain standing, later Bealon joined Daemon on dragonback with his dragon Verageon as the two brothers burned the ships the sea tide changed as the fired up ships crashed into the lower grounds of dragonstone blowing up impact and creating a opened way of entrance for the attacking coalition of Viserys army

As the castle rumpled and shook inside for the people inside the castle's inner walls Alicent was in intense Labour screams of her pain of birth silenced the noise around them from the intense screams of agony.

"One more push my lady" she screams loudly as a cry came out the midwives did their thing and wrapped the child up with linens "it's a boy your Grace" and looked over sweating from the intense birth pain "my little Rhaegar".

but suddenly she screamed again and the midwife checked her womb "another child is coming!" The leader of the midwives ran towards the side of her bed "I need you to push again!".

Back outside the gates men from both sides fought each other as the screams of dying men echoed the field, limbs attached where cut off blood spilling the green grass Red like a crimson flow of blood.

both sides of the castle as more of the burning ships exploded exposing more breaks in the defences Lannister and Baratheon men rushed into the lower field on the other side of the castle surprising the men who knew only of the other sides breaches of the dragonstone defences.

Bealon rushed with his dragon Verageon as did Daemon with Caraxes helping their soldiers fight with more and more breaches becoming more and more evident.

Daemon in a rage flew towards the iron fleet to kill Ragnar Greyjoy as he burned a couple of ships he realised the man was not on board he thought the Greyjoy a coward and craven for not leading his men with the iron fleet.

But Daemon didn't realise that his belief of Ragnar's cowardice was foolish and not realising this was going according to Ragnars plan.

Wooden boats of five came towards the back of Dragonstone with some of the best fighters in the Greyjoy and Targaryen army as they landed on the shore Ragnar threw axes at the unsuspecting men as they arose from the sea's shore.

Also his men under his control also killed unsuspecting men by men of Strangelion or a knife to the poor man's neck they gather Ragnar grabs the back door keys and enter the inside walls of Dragonstone.
