Back in kings landing Visenya was discussing with the kings council about the state of the realm which eventually led to nothing her mind immediately went to this is a waste of time she left the council with frustration and to escape the high measters rumbling about random unrelated subjects of topic as she left she was informed of the new handmaidens arrival to serve her Rosalyn Tully she went to court yard and Rosalyn bowed immediately "your highness" Visenya studied her for a few moments and was satisfied "rise lady Tully" she stood up and followed her alongside the other handmaiden's.
Visenya walks into aegons chamber who writing at his desk "Visenya how was the council meeting" visenya rolled her eyes as she stroke Jeahearys hair "tiresome" aegon chuckled and look over at Rosalyn Tully he walked toward her and kissed her hand "and who is this" Aegon asked Visenya who raised her eyebrow "Rosalyn of house tully my new handmaiden" Aegon nodded giving her one last look as he takes Visenyas hand and left leaving Rosalyn hurrying after her.

careful not to let her steps echo too loudly against the stone floors. The pace was brisk-deliberate-and she quickly realised this was no idle stroll.

Visenya did not look back.

Aegon still held her hand, guiding her through the winding corridors of the Red Keep as if the path had long been carved into memory. Servants bowed as they passed, guards straightened, and yet neither of them acknowledged it. Their focus remained fixed-on something unspoken between them.

Rosalyn kept her gaze lowered, though her eyes flickered just enough to take in her surroundings. The tapestries, the torches, the quiet watchfulness of those they passed... King's Landing breathed differently than Riverrun. Heavier. Sharper.

Finally, Visenya pulled her hand free.

"That was pointless," she said, her voice cutting cleanly through the silence. "They speak in circles and call it governance."

Aegon exhaled faintly, though there was no real amusement in it this time. "It is the nature of councils to delay what one person could decide in a moment."

"Then perhaps one person should decide," she replied coolly.

That made him glance at her-more carefully now.

Rosalyn slowed her steps just slightly, instinctively knowing she was walking the edge of something private, something not meant for her ears. But no dismissal came.

"Careful, Visenya," Aegon said quietly. "That way of thinking makes enemies."

Visenya stopped.

So abruptly that Rosalyn nearly faltered behind them.

"I already have enemies," Visenya said, turning to face him fully. "At least I do not pretend otherwise."

For a moment, the corridor seemed to hold its breath.

Aegon studied her-really studied her-before something in his expression softened, if only slightly. "No," he admitted. "You never have."

Silence stretched between them again, but this time it was different. Not sharp-something heavier, older.

Then, as if remembering, Aegon's gaze shifted past her.

To Rosalyn.

"You keep quiet," he observed.

Rosalyn immediately lowered her head further. "It is not my place to speak, Your Grace."

"Mm." His eyes lingered, thoughtful. "A useful quality... if it is genuine."

Visenya's gaze flicked toward her handmaiden, sharper now. Measuring.

"It is," Rosalyn said carefully. "I serve where I am placed."
