Chapter 14: a marriage apon a secret

Almost one week had gone by since Freya, Ragnar and coryls set sail to Essos and by that the Targaryen royal family and Rhaegar had arrived on Tuesday.

On Wednesday Baela and Rhaena's mother Leana arrived on Vhagar the following morning to everyone's astonishment on dragonback pregnant on her fifth month of the birth cycle.

Dyana with the other servants sorted things out for the royal guests.

Rhaegar was a most pleasant distraction wandering off to the town outside the castle or enjoying each other's company in Rhaegar's bed chambers when the opportunity arrived.

By the harbour Visenya and Aegon were sitting by the edge of the dock walk eating grapes and drinking wine they had taken with them from the Red keep.

"Aegon we should head back it's getting late".

Aegon held her hand as she stood up, he kneeled and presented her with a ring "Visenya will you marry me".

Visenya was taken aback but smiled "Yes Aegon I will marry you".

They hugged and kissed each other as Aegon placed the ring on her finger, She looked at it , It was a beautiful red sapphire ring, the circular metal was gold engraved with dragons.

"Aegon it's Beautiful I love it" Aegon smiled.

"should we tell the others?" Aegon thought for a moment then shook his head "no let's leave it for now".

Visenya nodded, once things were packed they heard back to pyke castle.

Rhaegar was in his chamber with Dyana asleep, Dyana stroked his curly hair while she woke him up.

"Rhaegar I got to get to my duties" Rhaegar sighs as he turns to face her.

"They can wait" Dyana chuckles as she puts on her gown.

Suddenly she felt an overwhelming sickness she ran over to the balcony and threw up, Rhaegar ran over to her "Dyana are you okay?".

Dyana looks at him with worry in her eyes "Rhaegar I think I'm pregnant, if the queen finds out!".

Rhaegar held her hand and kissed it "she won't find out Dyana and if she did I won't let her do anything to you this is our child I intend to raise our baby with you".

Dyana smiled "you mean that?" She asks curiously looking for any sign of truth, Rhaegar replied with a kiss and that confirmed the truth to her.

Suddenly Rhaegar thought of a idea "marry me in Secret and when the time comes they can not deny us".

Dyana thought for a moment and nodded "I agree I want to marry you" they kissed again "I love you Rhaegar" Rhaegar smiled "I love you to Dyana.

It was a week after the marriage proposal for both Rhaegar and Dyana, Aegon and Visenya told Rhaegar immediately he promised to keep there Secert until they were ready.

He told them off his marriage to Dyana and ask them both to be his witnesses to their marriage union they agreed.

On the down of the next day they bribe a servant of the Severn who was swayed by the coin.

Then the next day the wedding service for Dyana and Rhaegar was here at the break of dawn Rhaegar and Aegon made their way to a lake a far distance from the view of Pikes castle.

Visenya around 9am made an excuse to leave with Dyana to Alicent which she accepted, and with that the two made their way to meet Rhaegar and Aegon at the lake.

The priest of the Severn wrapped Dyana and Rhaegars hands in a marriage bond and began to speak the vows of Matrimony.

"In the sight of the Seven, I hereby see you these two souls, binding them as one for eternity. Look upon one another and say the words".

they smiled at each other "Father. Smith. Warrior. Mother. Maiden. Crone. Stranger. I am his, and hers is mine, from this day, till the end of my days".

They then kissed each other as Aegon and Visenya clapped for their marriage.
