Chapter 12: years later and A night of drinks

It had been a couple of years since Bealons banishment, in that time The king promoted Ragnar to Warmaster of the king and Navy and was given charge of the duty back in Pyke.

Alicent Raised Aegon and Visenya as well as having two more children with Viserys Aemond and Helena growing up together and getting their dragons but Aemond still had no dragon.

Rheanrya had just given birth to Joffrey, Rhaegar was considered a son to Rhaenyra even though they were half related to her being her cousin.

She didn't mind, as she loved him like a son and raised him like Alicent would have wanted but could not due to the past.

Rhaegar, Visenya and Aegon were all the same age range and were close friends with each other, Visenya and Rhaegar were unaware of being twins with each other but they were friends nevertheless.

Rhaenrya was in her study looking at the things to do then Rhaegar walked in "sorry I'm Late" Rhaenrya smiled at Rhaegar "don't worry about it sweet boy" Rhaegar sat down on the chair next to Rhaenrya.

"What's this?" Rhaegar asked curiously "It's the timeline of the Targaryen kings from the first ruler Aegon the conqueror all the way to my father King Viserys ending with my grandfather king Jaehaerys the first of his name, otherwise known as the Conciliator".

Rhaegar's interest,from the historical timeline book of Targaryen kings of old to president day, piques his curiosity.

Rhaenrya smiled seeing the side of himself in Alicent when they were both young and her fascination with books and learning.

"Tell you what, how about you study this book and after you read it all you can tell me about it and what your thoughts are".

Rhaegar looked at Rhaenyra "really!" Rhaenrya chuckled "of course sweet boy".

Rhaegar hugged Rhaenyra, she thought for a moment "do you want to know about your birth mother...".

She looked for an Answer in his eyes.

"no I do not because to be honest you're more of a mother to me Rhaenrya since I was very little you have always been there for me, in a way you're the only mother I have ever known".

Rhaenrya smiled her heart full of joy at his sweet words and she hugged Rhaegar "thank you I have always thought of you as my son Rhaegar".

they both smiled at each other "you should get to sword practice".

he nods and gets but stops as Rhaenrya held the book for him they chuckled as he took it and went to sword practice.

she couldn't help but feel sorry for Alicent she had missed so much only being able to watch from a distance.

Visneya was wondering about the Red keep bored until she saw Rhaegar walking past "Rhaegar!" She waved hurriedly "hey Visenya".

Visenya noticed the book in his hand "seriously more books don't you ever get tired of it" Rhaegar chuckled "No I don't I quite enjoy a book you should try it".

Visenya rolled her eyes with a groan of Boredom "do you really have to do sword practice today!" Rhaegar rolled his eyes this time at her comment knowing too well she was bored out of her mind.

"What exactly do you want to do, Visenya?" Visenya grinned mischievously "Head out of the Red Keep without anyone knowing and have fun besides we may even go to a tavern".

Suddenly Aegon appeared "A tavern you say! Rhaegar screw Sword practice let's go!" Rhaegar watched as Visenya and Aegon gave him the puppy eyes.

he sighs shaking his head chuckling "alright I guess I can skip practice for one day".

Aegon cheered as he wrapped his arm around Rhaegar in Excitement as Visneya smirked and chuckled following behind them.

Once they sneak out of the red keep and wander into Kings landing they head off to a tavern where they begin a drinking session ending up in flea bottom Rhaegar sat awkwardly as the drunks stumbled about drinking and harassing the Maids who served them drinks.

it was best to say Rhaegar felt incredibly uncomfortable for a moment he lost sight of Visenya and Aegon.

He got up and went to find them, after a few minutes of looking he turned a corner and saw the two of them.

Visenya and Aegon were kissing each other, He always knew that Targaryen blood was always a queer topic but seeing his best friends kiss each other was a shock to say the least.

He turns around as they begin to fondle each other, he walks out of the tavern in shock knowing it's best he heads back to the Red keep.

As he wandered back he saw the maid in service for Alicent, Dyana he walk up to her "you alright Dyana" she quickly looked at him "lord Rhaegar Hightower I was just heading home..".

he put his hand on her shoulder "want me to escort you home" she nodded shyly and they headed to her house as they arrived she turned to face him "umm would you like to come in".

she says blushing, biting her lip, Rhaegar nodded that night Rhaegar and Dyana spent the night with each other throughout the night until dusk of morning.

He woke up in her bed lying next to Dyana both naked he slowly got up and dressed as Dyana stirred awake after their night together "you were amazing Rhaegar to be fair you were my first".

Rhaegar smiled as he looked at her "you were to Dyana but it's best we keep our affair of ours a secret between us I want to see you again" Dyana smiled.

"I look forward to it Rhaegar" she got up still completely naked and kissed his lips after saying goodbye Rhaegar headed back to the Red keep as he walk into the family dining room King Viserys was mad at Visenya and Aegon for sneaking out at night.

and worrying their mother Alicent, sick with worry as Rhaegar walked closer Rhaenyra saw Rhaegar "Rhaegar where in the hell Severn hell's were you last night you missed your sword practice".

Rhaegar embarrassedly spoked up "I was with Visenya and Aegon until midnight and ended up staying the night at an inn" Visenya and Aegon looked relieved that he didn't mention their little thing last night.

After what seemed like hours of telling off from the king, Viserys and Rhaenrya alicent spoke up "We have been invited to my sisters place in Pyke to the iron islands That way this kind of thing won't happen".

Viserys nodded "Rhaenyra and Alicents children will come with You a family reunion will hopefully bring these three back to good and honourable behaviour I will remain you will set off tomorrow".

and with that they were off to The iron islands Aegon was pleased when Dyana was chosen as one of the maids for Visenya, the next morning they began their journey to the iron islands at Pyke.
