Chaeyoung sat quietly in the corner of the prison cafeteria, her tray of food in front of her.

She picked at her lunch, her mind elsewhere, thinking about you and Jae. The memories of the mornings she spent with both of you made this place feel even colder, more isolating.

She was used to keeping her head down, avoiding eye contact, and staying out of trouble, just as you had warned her.

But today felt different.

As she ate, Chaeyoung noticed a group of women approaching her from across the room.

They were tough-looking, with hardened expressions and a predatory gleam in their eyes. She recognized them instantly, Rina and her gang.

They'd been watching her since they arrived, their stares lingering on her like a hawk sizing up its prey.

Chaeyoung's heart began to race as she looked around, hoping to find a guard or anyone who might help, but the cafeteria was unusually quiet, and the nearest security guard seemed to be distracted, talking to another inmate.

Rina, a tall and muscular woman with a cruel smile, reached Chaeyoung first. She leaned down, her shadow casting a long, dark line over Chaeyoung's tray.

"Look what we have here," Rina said, her voice dripping with mockery. "The little bird all alone, hoping someone will come to her rescue."

Chaeyoung swallowed hard, her throat dry. "I'm just trying to eat," she said, her voice barely above a whisper, trying to sound calm but failing miserably.

"Oh, we know," Rina laughed, glancing back at the other women who were now circling around Chaeyoung like wolves.

"But see, we've had our eye on you. You look so weak, so scared all the time. And we were thinking... maybe you need a little reminder of where you really are." She added.

Chaeyoung's fear spiked as Rina's words settled in. She tried to get up, to escape, but one of the other women pushed her back down onto the bench with a hard shove.

The cafeteria suddenly felt suffocating, the air heavy and thick. Rina grabbed Chaeyoung by the arm, her grip like a vice, and yanked her to her feet.

"Let's take a little walk," Rina said, her voice cold as ice.

Chaeyoung struggled, trying to pull away, but Rina was too strong.

They dragged her out of the cafeteria, down the hall, and into the dingy, fluorescent-lit bathroom.

The room was empty, the sound of dripping water echoing eerily against the tiled walls.

Rina threw Chaeyoung against the wall, her back slamming into the cold, hard surface.

The others surrounded her, their expressions devoid of any empathy or mercy.

"Please... don't," Chaeyoung begged, her voice trembling, but Rina's only response was a cruel smirk.

"This is going to be fun," Rina said, her fist connecting with Chaeyoung's stomach in a sickening thud.

Chaeyoung gasped, the wind knocked out of her as she doubled over in pain. The other women joined in, their fists and feet striking her over and over.

She tried to protect herself, curling into a ball, but there were too many of them, and they were relentless.

Each blow sent shockwaves of pain through her body, and the taste of blood filled her mouth.

Time seemed to stretch on forever as the beating continued. Chaeyoung could hear Rina laughing, the sound mixing with the ringing in her ears.

She felt herself slipping away, the pain too much to bear. Eventually, she collapsed to the floor, her vision blurry, her body battered and broken.
