embarrassing

wednesday's POV:

i hear the door open before enid moves closer, i feel and hear her growl, i open my eyes and look at her, i notice she's still asleep, i look ast her and see a nurse looking at us with a frightened look "do you need something?" i say, she jumps at my voice but puts a smile on before answering "i was just checking if you were okay with your family coming in"

i nod and shift making enid grumble and tuck her head into my neck, i feel her grip tighten as mre footsteps head our way, i see my mother poke her head around the corner with a smile, she waves before walking in my brother in her arms, i feel enid's claws come out as my mother gets closer, i place my hand over hers as i wake her "enid, come on wake up" i say my voice softening, i feel her move slightly before lifting her head,

my mother smiles at her while she looks around still half asleep, i watch my mother put my brother down as he slowly walks up to me "hi nessy" he says with his signature smile "hi riley" i say back giving him a small smile aswell, he looks past me at enid who was slowly waking up, i see him point at her with a curious look "who that" he says as enid finally noticed him pointing and gave him a little wave,

"that's enid" i say looking at him, he lifts his arms up as i look at my mum, she smiles as i reach down to grab him, i lift him up with a slight struggle and put him on my lap, he stares at enid who stares back, he tilts his head as enid finally looks away, she looks at me to which i just shrug riley slowly raises his hand to enid's face as i watch them,

i see her back up a for second before moving back to where she was a second ago, i him place one of his fingers on her nose as a big smile takes over his face, she smiles back as she puts her finger on his nose, he giggles and looks at me, he takes his other finger and puts it on my nose,

his smile gets bigger as he looks back at enid, she smiles at him before turning back to me and placing her finger on my nose aswell, i raise my eyebrow as they both giggle, after a second riley grabs my hand and puts my finger on his nose, he picks up my other hand and hands it to enid, she places my finger on her nose aswell, i watch as they both start laughing,

after a couple seconds i take my fingers off their noses and shake theirs off mine, i see enid frown before lying next to me, i watch as riley looks at us with a confused expression probably because the only person he's ever seen touch me is himself, i look at him before grabbing enid's hand "show him your claws" i say looking at her,

riley stares at her hands for a second before her coloured claws pop out, i see him jump back before immediately getting closer i see his mouth open as he looks at her claws, he grabs her hand and turns it toward himself, he looks at me before smiling and putting her hand over his face, i hear his laugh as she moves her fingers so we can see his eyes, i turn to her and see smile on her face,

before we can do anything else we hear a knock on the door "there's someone here to see you" the nurse says, i notice she was looking at enid and not me, i look at her but she shrugs, a couple seconds later a boy with short black hair walks in "kyle" enid says with a small

"hey e" he says walking in with his arms out, he waits a second before realising enid's not gonna get up,

oof embarrassing.

he gives her a awkward smile and a nod "sorry i know i didn't tell you, i just wanted to suprise you" he says rubbing the back of his neck "that's nice and i'm happy to see you but do you think we can do this another day?" she asks as he smiles slightly "oh yeah, yeah no problem sorry" he says leaving the room,

as soon as he leaves i look back to enid before glancing at my mother "oof embarrassing" me, my moher and my brother all say at the same time, she pauses for a second "did you guys rehearse that?" she says before laughing a bit riley staring at her with a confused look before shrugging and turning back to pixie,

"that was really awkward tho" i say turning to her again as she just looks at me, she pressed  her lips together before looking down "yeah it was"
