Growing Closer💞

Day by day, Keyan and Sanna found themselves spending more time together. Whether it was late-night conversations, casual walks around the campus, or study sessions that ended with them just enjoying each other's company, their bond grew stronger. Sanna felt herself falling for Keyan's charm, his genuine nature, and the way he always seemed to understand her.

But not everyone was happy with their growing closeness.

Ankit had been silently watching from the sidelines, his heart sinking each time he saw Sanna and Keyan together. Every shared laugh, every lingering glance between them was like a dagger to his heart. Ankit had always cared deeply for Sanna, not just as a friend but as something more. He had been harboring feelings for her for a long time, but he had never found the courage to tell her.

There were countless moments when he wanted to confess when they were alone, when she smiled at him in that special way, or when she came to him for advice. But every time, the words stuck in his throat, and the fear of losing their friendship kept him silent. Ankit had always convinced himself that just being close to Sanna was enough, that he could be content with her happiness, even if it wasn't with him.

But now, seeing her with Keyan, the pain was unbearable. It wasn't just jealousy though that was certainly part of it it was a deep, gnawing ache that consumed him every time he saw them together. Keyan seemed to have effortlessly slipped into the space Ankit had always dreamed of occupying. Ankit couldn't stand the thought of Sanna being with someone else, especially not with Keyan, whom he believed wasn't right for her.

Ankit's mind became a storm of conflicting emotions anger, sadness, frustration. He wanted to protect Sanna, to pull her away from Keyan and show her that he was the one who truly cared for her. But he was also terrified of what might happen if he did. The fear of rejection, the fear of ruining their friendship, kept him trapped in silence.

But as days passed, the sight of Sanna growing closer to Keyan was more than he could bear. The pain in his chest grew with every smile she directed at Keyan, every moment they shared that Ankit wished could be his. The thought of losing her forever to someone he didn't trust gnawed at him, driving him to the edge of despair. He couldn't stay silent anymore, even if it meant risking everything.

So Ankit decided he had to act, to do something, anything, to make Sanna see that Keyan wasn't the right person for her. Even if it meant subtly planting doubts in her mind or indirectly hinting at his own feelings, Ankit was determined to protect her from what he believed would be a mistake. He couldn't stand by and watch the girl he loved slip away without a fight.

One day, Ankit found Sanna alone in the library, her nose buried in a book. He had been watching her for days, his emotions tangled in a web of confusion and jealousy. He knew he had to act, but he needed to be careful he couldn't let her see the depth of his feelings.

He walked up to her, his heart pounding. "Sanna, tumse zaruri baat karni hai," ("Sanna, I need to talk to you about something important")he said, his voice steady but laced with urgency.

Sanna looked up, startled by the intensity in his tone. "Kya baat hai, Ankit?" ("What's the matter, Ankit?")she asked, sensing something was off.

Ankit hesitated for a moment, choosing his words carefully. "Mujhe lagta hai tumhe Keyan se thoda door rehna chahiye,"("I think you should keep some distance from Keyan,") he began, his eyes searching hers for a reaction. "Woh... tumhare liye sahi insaan nahi hai."("He... is not the right person for you.")

Sanna's brow furrowed in confusion. "Yeh tum kya keh rahe ho, Ankit? Keyan ke baare mein aise kyun soch rahe ho?"("What are you saying, Ankit? Why are you thinking such things about Keyan?")
