Sanna dropped Aryan at his apartment, her mind whirling with the words he had whispered to her earlier. As she pulled away, she barely noticed Keyan trying to get her attention. His calls for her to stop went unanswered, and with a final glance in her rearview mirror, she sped away, her heart heavy.

Keyan stood there, puzzled and slightly hurt. "Why is she mad at me?" he muttered to himself, racking his brain for answers. The only thing that came to mind was his interference in the argument between Riya and Aryan. Maybe Sanna was angry that he had gotten involved.

That night, Keyan tried to call her multiple times, each ring making him more anxious as she didn't pick up. "She must have passed out from all the drinking," he tried to reassure himself, but unease gnawed at him.

But Sanna wasn't asleep. Far from it. She lay curled up in her bed, tears streaming down her face, her pillow soaked with the evidence of a sleepless night. The betrayal she felt from both her best friend and the one she thought was her lover crushed her. How could they do this to her?

The next morning, Sanna walked into the college with a cool composure that masked the storm inside her. She attended her classes, putting on a brave face, laughing and joking with her friends as if nothing was wrong. However, something was off Sanna made sure not to sit anywhere near Riya.

"Riya, why do you look like you haven't slept in a week?" Neha teased, trying to lighten the mood, but Riya's worried eyes were focused on Sanna, who was busy laughing at something Punit had said.

"Punit, you better not be thinking about food right now," Sanna chuckled, shaking her head. "We're in class, and you're already daydreaming about your next meal!!"

Punit grinned sheepishly, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Can't help it, Sanna. But here's a thought for you if butterflies get all fluttery in their stomachs when they fall in love, do you think they feel humans in theirs?"

The group burst into laughter, the lighthearted joke lifting the mood even as Sanna tried to hide the shadow of sadness in her eyes.

Ankit, always quick with a witty comeback, smirked and added, "Well, if that's the case, Punit, I guess humans are the real emotional baggage. Poor butterflies, carrying all that weight in their tiny stomachs!!!"

Laughter erupted again, the banter momentarily lightening the atmosphere. Even Sanna couldn't help but crack a small smile at Ankit's remark.

As the laughter died down, Riya approached them, trying to join in, but Sanna's smile faded the moment she saw her. Without a word, Sanna turned her back on Riya, as if she wasn't even there.

Riya's heart sank. She tried several more times to catch Sanna's attention throughout the day, but each attempt was met with cold indifference. By lunchtime, Riya couldn't take it anymore.

"Sanna," Riya called out, her voice tinged with frustration. "Please, just listen to me."

Sanna stopped, her irritation finally boiling over. "Fine, Riya... You want to talk??? Talk."

"I'm sorry, Sanna... If something I did upset you, but why are you angry because of Aryan and me arguing? What's wrong with you?" Riya pleaded, genuinely confused.

Sanna's eyes flashed with hurt. "Riya, I thought you were my best friend. But you betrayed me for some random person..."

"What?? What are you talking about? Are you crazy??? Why would I do that?" Riya's confusion deepened, her voice cracking with desperation.

"Really, Riya??" Sanna's voice was laced with bitterness. "Do you really think I'm a fool who wouldn't find out???"

"Sanna, please, just tell me what happened?" Riya begged, her mind racing to figure out what had gone so wrong.
