"Keyan, slow down a bit. The roads are getting worse," Sanna said, her voice calm yet concerned.
Keyan nodded, reducing speed. He glanced at her, their eyes meeting briefly, and smiled. "Wifey, I always listen to you, don't I?"

Just as they approached an intersection, a sudden screech tore through the air. In the blink of an eye, another car sped toward them, out of control, swerving wildly in the storm. Sanna's heart dropped as she saw it careening straight for Keyan's side of the vehicle. Without thinking, acting purely on instinct and love, Sanna lunged towards Keyan, shoving him with all her might away from the car door.
"Sanna, what....." Keyan began, but his voice was drowned out by the deafening impact.
The world turned into a chaotic blur of metal, shattered glass, and noise. Sanna's body shielded Keyan as the car spun violently, crashing into a barrier. The force of the crash sent her hurtling against the dashboard, the airbag deploying too late to fully protect her from the damage.
