Sanna's anger flared again, and her mind wrestled with her heart....
At that moment, Nisha, Sanna's old friend from school, arrived unexpectedly. She could sense the tension between them, and being someone who had always supported both Sanna and Keyan, she knew there was more beneath the surface.
"Hey, what's going on here?" Nisha interrupted, her voice filled with curiosity, but her expression showed concern. Sanna and Keyan exchanged glances, unsure of how to respond.
Nisha, not one to be easily fooled, could tell something serious was happening. She took a deep breath and said, "You two are acting like kids. Sit down and talk it out properly. If there's something wrong, you fix it, but don't just keep hurting each other."
Sanna turned her face away, not wanting to admit how much Keyan's presence was messing with her emotions. But Nisha persisted, looking directly at Keyan. "Tell her the truth, and I mean the whole truth. No more hiding anything. Otherwise, you're going to lose her for good."
Keyan exhaled, feeling like the weight of the world was pressing down on him. He looked at Sanna, his eyes pleading with sincerity. "I'm sorry. I should have told you everything earlier. I was scared you'd leave me if you found out... but nothing happened with that girl. I swear on everything. I should have trusted you enough to tell you the truth from the start."
Nisha, sensing Sanna's hesitation, gently placed a hand on her shoulder. "Sanna, I know you're angry, and you have every right to be. But think about everything you two have been through. Relationships aren't easy, and people mess up. The question is: is he worth fighting for?"
Sanna's walls began to crack. She could hear the truth in Keyan's voice, but she still hesitated, not fully trusting herself. Nisha stood between them now, looking at both of them with a small smile. "You two clearly love each other. You can't just throw it all away over a misunderstanding. Sometimes, people make mistakes, but they can grow from them. You just need to decide if you're willing to give each other that chance."
Sanna stayed silent for a moment, her mind still spinning. But Nisha's words, combined with Keyan's desperate honesty, began to soften the anger inside her. It was a hard choice, but deep down, she knew she couldn't just walk away from this without trying.
"Fine," Sanna finally muttered, her voice barely audible. "But it doesn't mean everything's okay." She looked at Keyan, her eyes still cold but less harsh. "You broke my trust, and that's going to take time to fix."
Keyan nodded, relief washing over him. "I know. And I'll do whatever it takes, Babydoll. I'll earn your trust back."
The tension between them began to ease, and Nisha smiled, knowing she had helped steer them in the right direction. She hugged Sanna and looked over at Keyan with a knowing glance. "Don't mess this up again," she whispered playfully to him.
As their vacation in Kashmir came to an end, Sanna and Keyan left the mountains not as a broken couple but as two people willing to work on their relationship. There was still a long road ahead, but they knew they had the support of friends like Nisha and the strength to face their problems head-on.
