Over the next few days, Sanna began pulling away from Ankit. She ignored his texts, kept conversations short, and avoided their usual hangout spots. She didn't give him an explanation there was no need. He had lied, and she had no interest in rekindling their friendship.
It didn't take long for Ankit to notice. His attempts to talk to her became more frequent, more desperate.
One afternoon Ankit cornered Sanna in the hallway, his voice laced with desperation. "Sanna, what's going on?? You're icing me out, and I don't know why."
Sanna's expression was glacial. "You really don't know, Ankit? Or are you just playing dumb??"
Ankit's face reddened. "I'm not playing anything. You're my friend, Sanna. Or at least, I thought we were friends."
Sanna's laughter was cold. "Friends don't lie to each other, Ankit. Friends don't fake injuries to get sympathy."
Ankit's eyes flashed with anger. "So, you believe whatever rumors you've heard? You don't even want to hear my side?"
Sanna's voice was firm. "I don't need to hear your side. I know what I saw. And I know what I feel. You've been using me, Ankit. And I'm done."
Ankit's face twisted in a snarl. "Fine. If that's how you want it. But you're making a big mistake, Sanna. A big one."

Word of their argument quickly spread, and it wasn't long before Keyan found out. His anger simmered beneath the surface until, one evening, he saw Ankit outside the campus gym.
The air outside the campus gym was electric with tension. The crowd of students gathered, their phones out, eager to witness the confrontation between Keyan and Ankit. Keyan and Ankit stood face to face, their anger palpable and their tempers flaring.
Keyan's eyes burned with fury. "You think you can play games with Sanna?? You're just a fake, using sympathy to get attention. Your true colors are showing now."
Ankit sneered, his cocky attitude unwavering. "You're just a sidekick, Keyan. You'll never be on my level. I know Sanna better than you ever will."
Keyan's fists clenched, his voice a low growl. "You're just a wannabe hero, using fake drama to get attention. Your stunts won't work here. It's time to take out the trash."
