It was a Friday night, and Aryan had decided to host a casual get-together at his apartment. Nothing too fancy, just a small group of friends unwinding after a long week of classes and assignments. Music played softly in the background, a mix of popular tracks and old classics, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Bottles of beer and snacks were scattered across the table, with everyone lounging around, laughing, and sharing stories.
Keyan was there, sitting on the couch, half listening to the conversation around him. His mind kept drifting to Sanna, who was at the other end of the room, chatting animatedly with Riya and Sweta. He couldn't help but notice how effortlessly she fit into any situation, her laughter infectious and her presence captivating.
The next moment, living room of Aryan's apartment buzzed with excitement as Sanna, Punit, and Ritik sprawled on the couch, each glued to their phones, intensely focused on their latest PUBG match. Keyan stepped in, arms crossed, a smirk on his face.
Keyan: "You guys are seriously still playing this? It’s just pixels! Why not get outside and play something real?"
Sanna (not looking up): "Says the guy who watches sports all day. At least I can blow stuff up without breaking a sweat!"
Punit: "Yeah, and Sanna’s actually good at it, unlike some people we know!"
Suddenly, Sanna's character got shot, and she threw her hands up dramatically.
Sanna: "No! Not like this! I was just about to win!"Keyan (grinning): "I told you to stop camping, Sniper Queen."
Ritik: "Let her be! She’s using her ‘strategic’ approach."
Sanna (rolling her eyes): "Strategic? More like clueless!"
Keyan leaned in, pretending to coach her.
Keyan: "If you’d just put down the phone and come play real games outside with me, you’d actually have some skills."Sanna: "Outside? In the fresh air? Ugh, sounds exhausting. This is way more fun than running around like a headless chicken."
Keyan: "Headless chicken? That’s your strategy? No wonder you keep dying!"
Everyone burst into laughter, and Sanna couldn’t help but smile.
Sanna: "Alright, Mr. Outdoor Champion, let’s see if you can do better. Join our squad!"Keyan dramatically sighed: "Fine, but only if I get to be the one who calls all the shots! Just remember, I’m used to winning in real life."
Punit: "Yeah, because that went so well last time when you got ambushed by a tree!"
Keyan (defensively): "Hey! It was a surprise attack! Trees can be sneaky!"
Sanna chuckled, shaking her head.
Sanna: "Sure, Keyan. Just admit it—you’re afraid of losing to a girl."Keyan: "Afraid? Never! Just worried about the reputation of real athletes everywhere."
As the laughter echoed through the apartment, they settled back into the game, their playful banter and friendly rivalry filling the room with a warm, familiar energy.
As the night wore on, the drinks flowed more freely. Everyone was starting to loosen up, the laughter louder and the stories more exaggerated. Sanna, usually someone who could handle her drinks well, was in high spirits. Ritik, ever the instigator, kept challenging her to down more shots, but Sanna met each one with a grin, showing no signs of backing down.
Ritik: "Come on, Sanna! One more shot! Let’s see if you can handle it!"
With a grin and a defiant sparkle in her eye, Sanna raised her glass.
Sanna: "You think I can’t? Bring it on!"
