Keyan's obsession with Sanna only deepened with each passing day in Kashmir. The snowy landscape that once seemed like a beautiful escape was now a vast playground in his relentless pursuit of her. From the moment he first saw her amidst the snow-capped mountains, he was enchanted. But it wasn't just a fleeting attraction; it was a fierce, unyielding need to be near her, to protect her, to possess her. He couldn't explain it, but he didn't want to either Sanna was all that mattered now.
Every morning, Keyan would wake up with a single thought: "Find Sanna." He started his day at the small café near the marketplace, the one she frequented for her morning chai. Keyan would sit at the corner table, sipping his tea, his eyes never leaving the entrance. He watched every person who walked in, hoping to catch a glimpse of her, just a flash of her scarf or the sound of her voice. On the days she didn't show up, his anxiety would spike. He'd roam the narrow streets of the town, asking shopkeepers and locals if they had seen her, describing her with a level of detail that only someone obsessed could muster.
His friends back home would have laughed at him, called him crazy, but Keyan had long stopped caring about anything that wasn't Sanna. One afternoon, as he wandered through the bustling market, his heart nearly stopped when he saw her. She was browsing through a stall of handmade jewelry, completely unaware of his presence. But then, his eyes narrowed as he noticed a guy trying to flirt with her, striking up a conversation. Sanna, ever polite, smiled and brushed him off, but Keyan's blood boiled. The idea of another man even thinking about Sanna, let alone talking to her, made his vision blur with anger.
Later that day, while Sanna was busy in a shop, Keyan followed the guy down a narrow alley. The market's cheerful chaos was left behind as Keyan cornered him against a cold, stone wall. "Stay away from her," Keyan hissed, his voice low but filled with menace as he grabbed the guy by the collar. "If I see you near her again, you'll regret it." The guy's bravado melted into fear, and he nodded quickly before stumbling away as soon as Keyan released him.
Meanwhile, Sanna continued her day, blissfully unaware of the storm raging within Keyan. To her, it was just another ordinary day in Kashmir. But to Keyan, every encounter, every interaction, was a battle to keep her close whether she knew it or not. His obsession drove him to shadow her every move. Once, he overheard her talking to a friend about visiting a nearby temple at sunrise. The next morning, Keyan was already there, waiting in the chilly dawn just for a fleeting chance to see her. He didn't speak to her; he couldn't. But just being near her, watching her from afar, had become his daily ritual, his lifeline.
As the days passed, Keyan couldn't help but marvel at his own behavior. "Seriously, if I was this persistent about someone, I'd probably be in a police lineup by now," he thought with a rueful grin, peeking out from behind a stack of woolen shawls as he watched Sanna haggle over some trinkets. "Who knew I'd end up being the world's most dedicated stalker right here in Kashmir?" He chuckled quietly to himself, his eyes never leaving Sanna. "Ab kya, Sherlock Holmes ke case se bhi zyada mushkil hai yeh!!!"("This one's tougher than cracking a Sherlock Holmes case!!!")
But even as he laughed at his own antics, he knew there was no turning back. Sanna had become his mission, his obsession, and no amount of self-awareness was going to change that.
But as the days passed, Keyan's obsession began to take its toll. His friends back home were growing concerned Keyan had stopped answering calls, stopped checking in. He had gone completely off the radar, consumed entirely by his pursuit of Sanna. He barely ate, couldn't sleep, and every waking moment was dominated by thoughts of her. He was living on the edge, and the line between love and obsession had blurred long ago.
