"ZAYN DID YOU SEEN THAT?!" Liam yelled at me, pointing at his laptop which was facing away from me so I had no idea what he was talking about.
I looked up from my phone, still scrolling through my recent messages. The only one who had been spamming my phone was Justin. How depressing. I needed more friends. Shit, I needed a woman. Or at least a friend with benefits.
"Seen what, Li? I haven't been on the internet lately." I mumbled, rubbing my face. I only went on the internet when I wanted to watch YouTube videos, I was never really up to date with the latest gossip.
He took a deep breath and motioned for me to come over. So I stood up, sighing because I was actually way too lazy. I was exhausted and tired, damn rehearsals.
"What do you think, Liam?" I asked, looking over his shoulder. All I saw was a page with lots of open tabs and headlines about various celebrities.
"Well, I was just surfing the internet and came across a blog that has over two million hits," he said.
"You say that like I should care?" I interrupted.
He looked at me reproachfully and just pointed to the laptop screen. At the top I could see a headline.
Twitter war between pop stars!
My mouth dropped open.
"Oh no."
I grabbed the laptop and pushed Liam out of the way, much to his displeasure.
My heart started beating faster, dropped into my pants and I could already hear my death sentence pronounced by my management.
Shit, shit, shit! Management! They're all going to flay me alive and eat me for dessert! But the gossip press always had to, and I always meant, hype everything up and make your life hell.
I scrolled up to the top, of course not before I saw all the comments underneath. And it was only posted two hours ago! 16 thousand comments! I closed my eyes and then opened them again to read the dreaded Perez Hilton blog.
Perez?! Really?! He became a rabid wolf when it came to gossip. He was an agitator! He loved to embarrass or annoy celebrities because the man was a soulless devil! He didn't care if he scored as long as he had the big scoop and the paycheck at the end of the day.
After all, E! News was subtle and true stuff, not hyped up and irrelevant stuff. But this...

Hey Beliebers, Directioners and whoever else is reading this!
What were you doing last night? If you watched Teen Wolf or Pretty Little Liars, you missed something big!
There have always been rumors that Justin Bieber and One Direction are good buddies. You all saw how obsessed Niall Horan was with Justin and you would think that since they have the same fans, the buddy thing would be true.
If you believed those rumors then I have to disappoint you honey! But that's okay, not knowing how beautiful you are is exactly what makes you beautiful.
Justin tweeted a rather angry tweet, so different from the carefree and sweet tweets to his fans.
"Have you ever met a person where you just wanted to throw all your morals overboard and kill them? I found her."
You would assume that this was a more general tweet, not an indirect attack. But assuming is not knowing.
The tweet, which was classified as general, was retweeted by most A-list celebs like Katy Perry, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and even Niall Horan himself. Which isn't really a surprise, because the little Irishman even worships the ground our Biebs walks on. But what the little blonde Belieber didn't know was that he was just heating things up between the two pop stars.
As the evening went on, you'll have seen One Direction's Zayn Malik tweet something very similar, which sounded very much like a response to Bieber's tweet.
"Ever met someone who twisted the situation so absurdly that it ended up looking like they won? I can take that off my bucket list now."
Yes, I did, Zayn, why? Besides stealing Justin's format, you also declared war on the As Long As You Love Me artist.
And Justin, oh Justin, disappointed us. He responded rather snidely with a heartfelt comment about boundaries. Something I don't believe in.
"Some people just don't know boundaries. They act like they know you when in reality they don't."
The response was pretty boring, I honestly thought it was just another generic tweet.
But lo and behold! Zayn came and countered Justin's tweet with
"Boundaries, such a beautiful word but to some people it means nothing. Especially when they drag up your past. #realtalk"
Oh Zayniekins, that was a really clever response. *eye roll* But who cares?! Brought some entertainment to my pretty boring night.
Well, the next tweet must have been annoying because his own band mate Liam Payne retweeted it. This is my personal favorite of the night because Bieber used the British hierarchy as ammunition for his opponent.
"I don't care who you are, you can be Obama, the Queen but you don't mock other people's families. That's pushing the boundaries! #backoff #realtalk"
I'm sorry Justin, but this isn't Candy Land, there are even reality shows about other people's families. Have you ever heard of Keeping Up With The Kardashians? Or Braxton Family Values? You're definitely wrong Bieber.
Well, most people would give up now because they have millions (45 to be exact) of Beliebers with knives and machetes at their door. But not little celebrity rookie Zayn, with his stubbornness and the stupidity of a henpecked shoe. It must have taken him a while to come up with a good answer, because it took over thirty minutes to come, but the grenade landed.
And it disappointed.
Big.
"And some people just don't give others a chance to apologize before shouting what others said to the whole world. Speaking of immature people... #growup"
Look in the mirror, boy, you're one of them.
Well, let's put aside all the generalizations and indirect tweets. Did anyone see the Teen Choice Awards in August? Didn't you think it was a great show? The biggest pop singers of the time performed, including Justin Bieber and One Direction. But at the beginning of the show, we were shocked that Justin and Zayn would be co-hosting! They presented Taylor Swift with an award together for something totally irrelevant. Yes, Zayn and Justin must be incredible actors because they were laughing, cracking jokes and making us all smile during their performance. But this Twitter war doesn't exactly reflect their good friendship, was it all an act? Do these two really hate each other? There are rumors that they were forced to co-host! And I thought they were friends!
But I can't say I'm disappointed, I love it when two celebrities fight!
I enjoy reporting on it and it fills my wallet.
