The seat I was on was opposite a window, I could see the sun rising.

I squinted my eyes as I watched it.

I had finished praying my Fajr prayer and I sat back down to watch the sunrise seeing as it was right in front of me.

Ya Abdul had gone to the mosque a block away to pray too, I couldn't go with him because they unfortunately didn't have a women's section, so the hospital floors and his prayer mat sufficed.

But Fajr was over roughly an hour ago, I didn't know what was taking him so long.

I didn't like being left alone, it left me with my thoughts.

I heard footsteps and my head shot to the right hoping it was him, it wasn't, it was a nurse.

I couldn't hide my disappointment, the nurse skeptically looked at me from the way I looked at her "um...Good Morning."

I force out a smile "Morning."

I look back at the window as I sat there for another hour covered up in Aunty's blanket, my heart heavy, my phone dead and my anxiety at its peak.

Did he leave?

It was a few minutes to 8am when he slumped beside me.

"I'm so sorry Rabi'ah, I fell asleep in the mosque." He groggily said.

I looked up at him and suddenly I felt bad, I was so selfish that I was eager for him to come back and provide me the comfort his company brought me without realizing he actually stayed up with me the entire night and he is definitely tired.

"It's ok, you can go home Ya Abdul, you've done enough nagode." I say.

He acts as if I'm not speaking to him as his eyes wander my tired face "a nurse informed me that there is a better seating area on the second floor, they have couches so you can lay down, let's go there, if there are any updates she said she'll let us know."

I nod, standing up because a couch sounded like the best thing right then.

We go to the second floor and just like he said the seating area there looked like a living room.

I sat on the longest one and I laid down before putting one of the small pillows on the couch under my head and covering myself up with the blanket.

Ya Abdul who stands there moves forward and I feel him fix up the blanket so it covers my feet before moving to seat on the one seater opposite me.

I simply lay there and I stare at him, when his attention falls on me he stares back.

"Sleep." He says.

I listen, I close my eyes and after that I don't remember opening then again as slumber took me away.

"Toh yaya? meh sukache?" I hear Aunty's voice as someone softly pats my head.

"Same as yesterday, they're still both in a coma."Hameeda replies.

My eyes open and I look up to Aunty patting my head.

I look around and Hameeda has squeezed herself in the small space left next to my legs, Ya Abdul was still on the same one seater and Rumaisa was standing next to him, Aliyu stood a few feet behind her with Aliya in his arms.
