Scarlett returned from tour and Decided to think about wedding plans.

"I don't want anything big, you know I don't like that" She mentions, Morgan nods.
"I get it, but Y'know it'll be in the public eye eventually because of who I am" He replies.

"So, maybe just a small thing in church and a little barbecue at your mamas?" She suggests.
"Works for me, I'm not picky" He replies.

"Okay then! I'm set! Church wedding and barbecue at mrs Leslis! Sounds like what I've always wanted" she says, Morgan smiled at her excitement.

And just like that Scarlett was standing in a wedding dress shop picking out a dress.
She steps out of the dressing room and gets a couple exciting looks.

"It's beautiful!" Lesli shouts. Caleigh can tell she doesn't like it. "It's amazing, but it's not really my style" she replies attempting to be nice.

"Honey, that dress is hideous to you, I have daughters, pick something you like not what I like" Lesli says.
She steps back in and try's on the Lacey floral dress she laid eyes on when she walked in.

She tries it on and doesn't see it like she wanted it. Caleigh stands and gives her that 'you like it?' Look.
They can all tell she doesn't. "It's just- I'm, im to fat for it" she says.

"Your not! It's just too small baby!" Lesli assures. "That is our smallest size ma'am" the employee says.
Caleigh grabs a medium in the dress and she tries it on immediately falling in love with it.

"Look at you, so grown up" her mom says wiping a tear from her cheek. "Oh mama, don't cry!" She exclaims.
"So should I bag this one up?" The employee asks. "Yes, this is it" Scarlett confidently says.

Lesli insisted on paying for it even though she said she would. "Lesli, this is a lot of money" she argues.
"I don't care! I'm paying!" She adds swiping her card.

Morgan already picked his suit a couple days ago so he was set. She came home empty handed because Lesli took the dress with her so he couldn't peek.

"Did you not pick one?" He asks. "I did, it's with Lesli" she replies. "Aw man, I wanted to see it" he pleads.
"It's bad luck, you've gotta wait on the wedding day" she replies.

He fake frowns and continues messing around with his guitar. "I've been thinking about it and I don't have anyone to walk me down the isle" she mentions.

"My dad could if you want, or you could walk yourself I've seen people do that" he suggests.
"I don't know, I want someone to walk with me but I don't know who"

"Your mama?" He suggests. "I can do that?" She asks. "It's your wedding you can do whatever you want" He replies. She agrees.

***
"I'm nervous, is it bad to be nervous?" Scarlett asks as her legs shake. "It's not bad, everyone's nervous on their wedding day" Her mom assures.

She finishes getting ready with all of the girls and starts to walk towards the church. Her mom held her hand all the way.

Morgan wasn't as nervous as she was. She heads to the door as she waits to walk down. The nerves hit her as she walks down the isle. Morgan smiles reassuringly.

She positions herself facing Morgan and takes both of his hands. He rubs the back of her right hand with his thumb. "You look beautiful" he whispers.

Scarlett slightly zoned out but still said I do. "You may kiss your bride!"
They kiss eachother softly and smile as they walk out.

"You ready for the barbecue wife?" He asks, she smiles at the name. "I am, husband" She replies as they hop in his truck.

They arrive at Leslie's and Scarlett changed into her little party dress with her more comfortable flat shoes.
They had a whole shindig set up our back.

"Oh this is amazing Lesli! Thank you so much!" Scarlett says Hugging Lesli. "Of course honey, I figured the fairy lights would add a little romantic touch" she says proudly.

Scarlett smiles as Caleigh bumps her shoulder. "Some champagne for the bride?" She asks with a smile.
"Yep! Of course!" Scarlett replies. She happily sips her champagne as she looks for Morgan.

She spots Micheal and knows he'll be with him. She spots him sitting next to Micheal.
"Morgan! Look at all this! Your mama really did great" she says looking around at the decorations.

"It's nice ain't it? The concrete patio doubles as a dance floor" he jokes. "Yeah! Where is the music?" She teases.
"That's what we've got Micheal for" Morgan says looking at Micheal who is holding a speaker.

"I put together a playlist full of good shit, stuff I like, stuff you like, all that jazz" He says.
"One step ahead Wallen, I like that" she teases.

"Hey you can't call me that anymore because your a Wallen now" he jokes back.
They spent the rest of their night dancing and having a great time until heading back to Nashville.

Scarlett sat her dress on the couch and immediately collapsed on the bed. Morgan took a shower and laid next to her taking the flower out of her hair and laying it on the nightstand.

He smiled at her sleeping peacefully next to him. He kisses her softly and places his hand around her middle.
"Love you" he whispers as he drifted off to sleep.

The next Morning Scarlett woke up and Morgan was still sleeping so she took a shower.
She changed into some sweatpants and climbed back into bed.

She curled close to Morgan and he opened his eyes. "Mornin" he groaned inviting her under his arm.
"Morning" she mumbles.

He wrapped her up in his warm embrace and she kissed his neck softly. "Someone's touchy today" he teases.
She laughs and playfully nips his neck. He yelps and turns over making eye contact with her.

"Stop!" He jokingly shouts. "Make me" she replies with a smirk. He flips her over making her gasp.
"Scared?" He teases. She nods and knocks him off of her.

She laughs and he holds his heart in fake hurt. "Looks like I can hold my own" she jokes. "Don't flatter yourself I let you" he jokes back.

She shakes her head and attempts to walk out but Morgan grabs her. "Gotcha" he teases. He smirks throwing her on the bed.

"I just woke up" she argues. "Good you'll have enough energy for it" he claps back. He pins her to the bed gently but enough to keep her down.

She resists but gives in as his hand slid up her leg. She almost melts as he continues. "You done bein miss big britches?" He teasingly asks.

Through breathes she shakes her head. "No? Okay then let's finish" He jokes as he puts his hand on her stomach.
Her stomach tightens and her fingers dig into the sheets.

"Dear god..." was all she could let out. "Now, you done?" He asks hovering over her panting body, she nods her head and collapses on the pillow behind her.

"That's what I thought" he mumbles kissing her softly as she catches her breath.
She lays there until he comes back with coffee.

Still laying in the same position his face is etched with concern. "Did I hurt you? Are you ok?" He asks.
"I'm, fine" she replies sitting up slowly and grabbing the mug from his hand.

"I'm sorry, did I take it to far?" He asks concern in his voice. "It's fine, I'm fine" she repeats. Still concerned he rubs her back gently as she sips her coffee.

She gets dressed and walks downstairs Leaving Morgan in their bedroom. He sighs and walks down with her grabbing his keys and making sure she's okay again before leaving to the studio.

Scarlett stayed at home writing songs and watching tv.
