Scarlett and Morgan spent the next few months baby proofing their house and setting up a nursery. Scarlett tried to pick up the crib box but is stopped. "No ma'am, no heavy lifting" Morgan says grabbing the box and walking it upstairs.

"Y'know I can do shit by myself right?" She adds following behind him. "You could, but I don't want you lifting a finger princess" He says, she rolls her eyes.

"We still dead set on Madison?" He asks. "I think so, unless we like something else better" She replies.
"I think Madison is cool" He adds. "Cool? I want it to be great" She argues.

"It's great baby, just amazing" he replies as he screws together the crib. Scarlett smiles walking down the stairs to hopefully pick up something up without being stopped.

"I hear you down there! Don't even think about it!" He shouts, she scoffs. "Screw you!" She shouts jokingly.
"You know you love me!" He shouts back laughing as he finishes.

She sits on the couch gathering some of the baby clothes she bought days before. She had one she hadn't showed Morgan that was still in her car.

It was a Orange Vols onesie with a matching Orange bow and ruffled white pants. "Morgan!" She shouts, he walks down the stairs, his tool belt rattling as he gets closer.

"What's up?" He asks, standing next to her as she opens the bag. "Look what I got for her" She says pulling it from the bag and showing him. "Oh man! She's a vols fan already I'll tell ya" He adds.

"She's not, yet" She replies, he nods. "How come?" She asks. "Last night you fell asleep while the game was on, and I had my hand on her and when they scored I told her, and she moved" he says with a huge smile.

"Awhhh, she just knew her dad was there I think" She replies. "She's a Vols fan, don't argue with me" He playfully argues.

They continued setting everything up until they got to the kitchen. "Lock up the alcohol" She says he looks confused. "Why?" He asks, she sorta looks at him.

"Have you ever been around a kid?" She teases. "Yes thank you very much" he claps back locking the cabinet.
"What if I have her while your gone to a show?" Scarlett asks obviously nervous.

"You won't, I'll be here with you" He assures. "But what if-" she stutters. "Stop worrying, I'll be here, I promise" He assures, she sighs.

Scarlett jolts awake feeling a wet cold liquid running down her legs. "Shit" She mumbles standing up from the bed. "Morgan!" She exclaims tapping his shoulder.

"Mmhm? You ok?" He asks sitting up. She stands in shock and nervousness not able to say a word as she stares at the soaked sheets.

"Oh, it's okay just calm down for a second I'll get your bag" He suggests, she nods still standing in the same position she was in prior.

"I- I'm, not ev- even due yet" She stutters As Morgan goes into full dad mode. "It's alright, just let me help you to the truck" He says, picking her up and carrying her to the truck where he situated her in the passenger.

She breathed hard as the cold AC hit her face. Morgan throws all the stuff in the backseat and hops in the front making sure she was okay before starting to drive.

The silence was filled with fear and nervousness of an early delivery for the both of them. "Morgan..." she mutters.
His face looks over at her waiting for an answer. "I'm scared" She murmurs as a tear slips down her face.

"I know it's scary, but I'll be there for you, it'll be ok" He assures as they pull into the hospital and walk in.

The minutes feel like hours as they wait for an answer. Scarlett is taken away from Morgan for an emergency c section that he wasn't allowed to be there for.

He paced the hallway atleast a thousand times before getting called back. Scarlett was asleep and his kid was in a box, no one was able to touch her or pick her up.

A tear formed in his eyes as he stared at the sight. The doctor pulled him away for a second to tell him what was going on.

"Your wife is well, she should make a full recovery in a week or two, and your daughter is premature witch means she will have to stay here for awhile, but we are confident she will also recover fully" The doctor states.

"Thanks, I can be in there cant I?" He asks, the doctor nods and he walks back in. He sits next to her bed not getting a second of sleep as he held her hand.

The steady heart monitor beeping on his daughter's screen was the only thing keeping him sane. Scarlett eventually woke up in horror at the sight. "Is she ok?" She asks, her voice shaking in fear as she stares at the ceiling.

"Take a breath, the doctor said she'd recover" he assures gently caressing her hand with his thumb. Her breathing slows and she relaxes her body onto the pillow behind her.

"I got battle scars baby" She jokes witch lightens the mood. "You sure do" He replies staring at the huge scar under her stomach. "That looks like it hurts, ouch" he mumbles.

"I ain't no bitch" she jokes, they both laugh. "I know, your tougher than me" He replies. The doctor walked in and checked Scarlett's vitals and the baby's.

"Do you want to hold her? Skin to skin is great for premies" She asks, Morgan looks at Scarlett for approval.
She nods and he takes his shirt off gently cradling his daughter.

Scarlett sheds a tear at the sight as Morgan holds her. "she looks just like you" She mumbles.

"no boys until your 30 alright?" he whispers to her, Scarlett laughs. "We'll sneak one past your dad honey don't worry" Scarlett whispers.

"Madison, my beautiful daughter, that's weird as hell" He says. "Your a great dad" She replies, he smiles at the name. "Dad, suits me well" He jokes.
