Sookie dressed herself up, before she stood up. She hugged herself and stood in the corner, watching Godric holding Gabe by his neck as a small sneer appeared on the vampire's face.
"Godric, it's me," Gabe managed to tell the young man, who then snapped his neck and let his dead body fall down.
Godric watched his body fall, before he turned towards Gabriela's Protected with a serious expression "You should have never brought Gabriela here."
Sookie gulped nervously at the stern look on the young man's face "I-I-I know that now." She regretfully responded.
Before any of them could say anything else, they all heard screams from upstairs.
"Bill!" Sookie exclaimed but the old vampire shook his head.
"No," Godric mused "I'm here, my child. Down here."
Suddenly, Eric appeared in the basement with vampire speed, with Angelo right behind him. Eric seemed calmer as he entered the basement and kneeled in front of his maker.
"Godric," he said and Sookie was shocked at the soft tone he had used, she had never heard him talking to anyone like that.
"Sook!" Angelo walked towards his adopted sister and pulled her in for a hug.
"Angelo!" She exclaimed as she hugged her brother.
Angelo pulled away from her and looked her up and down "You okay?"
She nodded "Godric saved me."
They both then looked towards the two vampires. Sookie shivered as she saw the furious glare on Godric's face.
"You were a fool sending Gabriela and her Protected after me." Godric sternly told Eric, as the Viking vampire continued to be below Godric.
Eric gulped regretfully "I didn't had a choice-"
"Everyone has a choice!" Godric snapped at his vampire, and both Angelo and Sookie were shocked when they saw Eric flinching, by his maker's tone. "They've been waiting and were preparing for her to show up, for years... to kill her Eric."
Eric closed his eyes as he felt regret consuming him. He didn't mean for this to happen to Gabriela. He wanted to save his maker, but he didn't know that, the Followers of the Sun had a weapon against her.
Godric turned towards Sookie then with a calmer expression "Do you still feel her?"
Sookie barely nodded "Yes. But... she's barely holding on-" Eric gritted his teeth in anger, at the thought of someone hurting Gabriela "-she's dying."
Angelo let go of his adopted sister and made a move towards the exit "I gotta go and find her."
"No." Godric's strict voice stopped the Nephilim "I'll go and find her and I'm going to save her."
