The next morning Gabriela got woken up by Sookie, begging her to come with her to talk with the other telepath.

Gabriela was curious to see who it was, so she followed Sookie into a room where he was preparing a bunch of fancy stuff for them.

When Barry saw the girls he cursed mentally and continued to work as Sookie approached a table, full of champagne, chocolate and what not.

"This is the continental breakfast?" Sookie questioned curiously.

"What's wrong with it?" Barry asked dully as Gabriela moved to sit on the couch in front of them. She watched him do his work as she said his name in her mind repeatedly causing him to glance at her.

Gabriela smirked to herself, knowing he was also a mind-reader. Maybe that was why he was working in a vampire hotel.

"I just thought..." Sookie trailed off with a laugh. "It would be more continental."

Barry began to move around as he passed Gabriela "Well, the danishes are Danish. And they're free."

Sookie tilted her head to a side. "Now, Barry, let's get to it."

Something must have struck inside Barry because he immediately got into Sookie's face. "Why won't you just leave me alone?"

"Because l've never met another telepath, have you?" Sookie questioned openly as Barry looked away from her and continued to work.

"No," he then mused and rolled his eyes "And don't say that word."

Sookie wasn't backing down, though. "It's what you are. Nobody else knows what it's like to be us. We need to stick together."

"Teamwork makes the dream work!" Gabriela exclaimed as Barry glared at the girls.

"It's nothing to be ashamed of," Sookie added seriously.

Barry finally faced the girl in annoyance. "Yes, it is. My life is shit. I can't do anything normal people do. If I'm not around a bunch of vampires, I can't hardly think."

Sookie nodded her head. "I used to feel exactly the same. Like I had a disability."

"More like a curse," Barry then turned to work.

Sookie continued to talk to him "But lately, since I met my boyfriend, it seems like telepathy can come in handy sometimes. You can even make a little money. I'm starting to see it in a whole new way."

"Then you're even crazier than I am."

Suddenly, the two telepaths saw a human woman in the hallway, looking around as Barry shut his eyes close to try and tune her out.

Gabriela wasn't helping him much either since he was listening to her thoughts ever since she stepped foot in. "Quit!" Barry yelled at Sookie as the woman entered to ask him something.
