The next morning Gabriela had finally managed to sleep, thanks to Lafayatte of course, who gave her valium to calm her down a bit.
She was leaning against the wall, behind Sookie watching Tara pacing around nervously, worried about Eggs.
"Tata, stop pacin'. You need to get some sleep." Sookie tried to calm her best friend, but it was no use.
Tara pleadingly looked at the blonde girl "We have to go get him." She begged them.
"The second you step foot out of this house, that bitch will get you again." Gabriela calmly explained her "I didn't lost that much energy, trying to help you last night. Just so you get back running to her."
Sookie gave her best friend a look, before she turned towards Tara again "We will go as soon as Bill gets back." She promised her "He might have some information about how to deal with Maryann."
"He might have some information." Tara snapped at her "He might not. Eggs needs to get out now." She stressed to them.
"Jesus, Tara, we just got you back!" Gabriela told her, loosing her cool "Now you want to go back to that evil place? Bitch it's a trap and Maryann knows it. She's betting on you coming for Eggs."
"How many times have you and Sookie put yourselves in danger for the people you love?" Tara asked her in aggrivation "How come you get that option and I don't?"
"Baby girl, it's better this way." Lettie Mae tried to soothe her, but, she got interrupted by distant screaming outside.
"Oh shit, she comin for you." Lafayette sighed before running into the back of the house.
"I finally found a strong, beautiful, good man who loves me, and y'all wanna keep me from rescuing him cause you afraid I'm gonna get hurt?" Tara asked them in disbelief "How hurt do think I'm gon be if something happens to him?"
"I ain't lettin you go back to someone who beats you." Lafayette added as he returned with a rifle in his hand, while standing next to Gabriela watching outside.
"He beat her?!" Lettie Mae exclaimed.
"No, it wasn't him." Tara screamed while looking at her mother "It was Maryann's influence." She explained further.
"She didn't throw the punches herself did she? No, now sit down and shut the fuck up!" Lafayette yelled at her, while pointing his rifle at her face, making her step back from her cousin "Sookie, my back pocket, get them handcuffs." He instructed and the blonde girl, who quickly pulled out from his back pocket, a pair of furry handcuffs.
Sookie looked at them strangely and looked towards Gabriela, who had a look of amusement while watching the scene in front of her.
Tara scoffed at her cousin "No!"
"These are fur." Sookie said in confusion, but she still handed them to Lafayette.
He grabbed the cuffs from her hands and walked towards Tara "Give me your hand." He demanded as he grabbed her hand "Give me your goddamn hand!" He pulled her up and hancuffed her one hand and started dragging her to the coffe table.
