Gabriela was pulling her Protected with her, while Eric was holding his mate's hand, pulling both of them with him.
As they got closer to the elevator, Gabriela pushed Sookie in front of her, as she and Eric looked around for Bill.
They were in the lobby and were about to run into the elevator, when Sookie tripped and fall into a pile of blood.
Eric quickly picked the girl up as he and Gabriela speed up into the elevator, and Eric hit the bottom for up.
He quickly looked at the two girls "You both okay?" He asked them worriedly.
"Yeah." Sookie nodded, while holding Gabriela's hand tightly.
Just then the elevator stopped and lost power, and Gabriela clunched into her mate's arm from the sudden movement. With his free hand, Eric started pressing the buttons to get it started. But, it was completely dead. The only way out would be climbing up the cable to a service shaft or the next doors.
"The power's shut down." Eric shared with the girls.
"Staying here isn't a option." Gabriela mumbled as she let go of Sookie, and looked around.
"Fuck." Eric muttered angrily.
"Can we get to the elevator shaft?" Sookie asked them as she looked up.
Gabriela nodded and she started punching the escape hatch "It's sealed shut. You'll be at it for too long." Eric told her.
Gabriela shook her head "Not for long." Her eyes glowed bright red, and she formed on the palm of her hand a fireball "Both of you move back."
Eric quickly grabbed Sookie and moved her out of the way, as Gabriela trust hand up and blasted the door clean off.
Eric first helped Sookie up, as she climbed on top of the elevator, then was Gabriela who stood next to Sookie and last was Eric.
Gabriela let her wings out as they spread open, and Eric grabbed Sookie as they flew out of the building.
They made it to the entrance and Gabriela quickly pulled her wings away, and they run to the SUV. Eric and Gabriela climbled at the front, while Sookie was in the back and Eric punched it right before the building could explode.
They drove to the side entrance where the others were waiting for them "Think it's time to ditch this party." Eric quipped.
Jessica climbed into the back, sitting next to Sookie, Jason hopping into the third row with Tara and Pamela, Nora sitting next to Jessica.
"Bill?" The redhead asked, looking at Sookie.
The blonde shook her head, Eric pulling the car away from the building as another roar was heard, Gabriela letting out a heavy sigh as she rested her head back against the seat.
