The days passed in a blur of routine for Y/N. School continued as usual, but the weight of her recent experiences lingered. She found herself distracted and occasionally lost in thought, especially when Akaashi and the volleyball team were mentioned or seen.

During lunch one day, Y/N found herself seated alone at the school's garden. Then he heard footsteps coming to her direction, turning her head to the side, she saw Akaashi.

"Hey, Y/N," he greeted. "Sorry to interrupt you, but if you're free later, let's grab a bite after the practice. Bokuto-san is also joining." he continued.

"Oh, Akaashi," she responded. "Uh...yeah sure," she continued.

"Great! See you later, Y/N," he replied back, with a smile plastered on his face before making his way back to his class.

The rest of the day passed in a haze, and soon it was time for practice. Y/N arrived at the gym and greeted the team, including Bokuto and Akaashi. The atmosphere was light-hearted, and despite her earlier frustrations, she couldn't help but smile at the familiar faces.

As practice came to an end, the team gathered for a quick break. Y/N chatted with Bokuto, who seemed in high spirits.

"Hey, Y/N, you look a bit better today," Bokuto said, flashing his trademark grin. "Feeling more like yourself?"

Y/N nodded, feeling a bit more at ease. "Yeah, I guess I am. Thanks for asking."

Akaashi joined the conversation, and Y/N found herself drawn into a friendly discussion about the upcoming school festival. The conversation flowed easily, and for a moment, Y/N forgot about her earlier worries.

Just then, one of the team managers, who had been busy with some paperwork, approached Akaashi and whispered something in his ear. Akaashi's expression shifted slightly as he listened. After the manager left, Akaashi turned to Y/N and Bokuto.

"Sorry, I have to deal with something quickly," Akaashi said. "I'll be right back."

Y/N watched as Akaashi walked toward the coach's office, curiosity piqued. Bokuto, noticing her interest, nudged her with a playful grin.

"Hey, you're really getting into this whole volleyball thing, aren't you?" Bokuto teased.

Y/N laughed, a genuine smile crossing her face. "Yeah, I guess so. It's hard not to with you guys around."

As they chatted, the group of popular girls from before suddenly reappeared at the gym entrance. They were whispering among themselves, clearly discussing something with great interest. Y/N's irritation flared up again when she saw them.

The girls approached Akaashi once more as he returned from the coach's office. "Hey, Akaashi!" one of them called out. "We just wanted to know if you've had any more notes recently."

Akaashi, looking slightly annoyed, responded, "I haven't received any new notes. Can I help you with anything else?"

The girls exchanged disappointed glances and murmured among themselves before leaving the gym, their presence again drawing unwanted attention.

Y/N, who had overheard the conversation, felt a surge of frustration. The way the girls seemed so fixated on Akaashi's notes, combined with her own feelings of jealousy, made her uneasy. She tried to shake off the emotion, focusing instead on the positive interactions she had with the team.

During the break, Akaashi returned to the group, looking more relaxed. He glanced at Y/N and noticed her slightly furrowed brow.

"Y/N, are you okay?" he asked with genuine concern.

Y/N gave a small, weary smile. "Yeah, just a bit tired. It's nothing."

Akaashi seemed unconvinced but didn't press further. The group eventually moved on to talk about the upcoming festival and the plans they had for it. The conversation shifted to lighter topics, and Y/N found herself enjoying the camaraderie of the team.

As practice ended and the time came for the group to head out for dinner, Y/N felt a bit more optimistic. Despite her earlier frustrations and the tensions surrounding the secret admirer, being with Akaashi and the team was comforting.

They walked to a nearby cafe, and the atmosphere was filled with laughter and friendly banter. Y/N found herself relaxing more with each passing moment, enjoying the warmth of the group and the easygoing nature of their conversation.

At the cafe, the group settled into a large booth, and the evening unfolded with delicious food and lively conversation. Y/N laughed at Bokuto's stories, joined in the discussion about the festival, and appreciated the genuine connections she was forming with the team.

As the night drew to a close and Y/N headed home, she reflected on the evening. The discomfort she had felt earlier seemed to have lessened, and she realized that spending time with Akaashi and the team had been a positive distraction.

As the night drew to a close, Y/N and Akaashi walked home together since they lived nearby. The crisp evening air was a welcome change from the day's tensions. They strolled side by side, the streetlights casting a warm glow around them.

Akaashi glanced at Y/N, noticing the subtle shift in her mood. "You seemed a bit off earlier. Is everything okay?" he asked gently, his concern evident.Y/N looked up at him, appreciating his attentiveness. "It's just... one of those days, I guess. I've been feeling a bit out of sorts lately," she admitted.

Akaashi nodded, giving her a reassuring smile. "I'm here if you want to talk about it. Sometimes it helps to share what's on your mind."

Y/N considered this for a moment. She felt a bit more at ease with Akaashi's understanding demeanor. "Thanks, Akaashi. I guess I'm just trying to figure out how to handle everything going on around me. It's been a bit overwhelming."

They walked a bit further in silence, the comfortable quiet between them only adding to the sense of calm. Y/N's thoughts turned back to the secret admirer, the notes, and the way the whole situation seemed to have spun out of control.

Finally, Y/N broke the silence. "Hey, Akaashi, can I ask you something? Well, it's just something I already asked you, but just asking again though....What would you do if you knew who the secret admirer was?"

Akaashi looked thoughtful for a moment, considering her question despite being asked the same thing before. "I think I'd try to understand the person's intentions. It's important to know why someone is expressing their feelings that way. I'd want to have a conversation and find out what's really going on."

Y/N nodded, reflecting on his response. "That makes sense. I've been thinking a lot about this whole situation, and it's starting to feel more complicated than I initially thought."

Akaashi stopped walking and looked at her, his expression gentle. "It's okay to feel that way. Sometimes things aren't as straightforward as we'd like them to be. The important thing is to take care of yourself and not let it consume you."

Y/N felt a wave of gratitude for Akaashi's words. "Thanks, Akaashi. I really appreciate your support. It's just hard to navigate these feelings and the whole mystery around the notes."

Akaashi offered a reassuring smile. "Remember, you don't have to go through this alone. If you ever need someone to talk to or just need a distraction, I'm here."

Y/N smiled back, feeling a sense of relief. "That means a lot. I guess I've been trying to handle everything on my own, but maybe I need to let others in more."

As they continued their walk, the conversation shifted to lighter topics. They talked about school, their favorite movies, and the upcoming festival. The easygoing nature of their conversation helped Y/N unwind, and she began to feel more at ease.

By the time they reached Y/N's house, the tension from earlier had dissipated. Akaashi stopped at the front gate, giving her a warm smile. "I'm glad we could talk. If you need anything, just let me know."

Y/N smiled, feeling more positive. "I will. Thanks for walking me home and for listening. I really needed this."

Akaashi nodded. "Anytime. Have a good night, Y/N."

"Good night, Akaashi," Y/N replied, watching as he walked away, the weight of her worries feeling a bit lighter.

As Y/N entered her house, she reflected on the evening's conversation. The support from Akaashi had made a difference, and she felt more ready to face the challenges ahead. For now, she decided to focus on the positives and take things one step at a time.
