The school festival had arrived in full swing, and Y/N was busy ensuring everything went smoothly. Her responsibilities as vice-president kept her on the move, checking stalls, coordinating with other student groups and making sure she still had some fun. Despite the lively atmosphere, she couldn't shake the feeling of curiosity and concern that had been gnawing at her ever since she'd overheard the conversation about the secret admirer.
As she made her way through the festival grounds, Y/N spotted the volleyball team's booth. Akaashi and Bokuto were hard at work, setting up a volleyball game for the festival-goers. Their energy was infectious, and Y/N decided to take a quick break from her duties to say hello.
"Hey, Akaashi! Hey, Bokuto! Everything looks amazing here," Y/N said, smiling brightly.
"Y/N! Great to see you!" Bokuto exclaimed, his enthusiasm undiminished. "You should definitely come by later and try out the volleyball game we've set up."
Akaashi gave a nod of agreement. "Yes, we'd love to have you join us. It's going to be a lot of fun."
Y/N glanced at her watch and sighed. "I'd love to, but I'm really tied up with my duties. I need to make sure everything is running smoothly for the festival report."
As Y/N was about to leave, Bokuto, still caught up in arranging the volleyballs, inadvertently said, "Oh, and Akaashi, don't forget about the note you got earlier. The one asking you to meet behind the school. I hope you're planning on going."
Y/N's heart skipped a beat at the mention of the note. She struggled to maintain her composure, her mind racing with a mix of curiosity and unease. "Oh, that sounds... interesting. Oh, look at the time! Well, I got to go. See you around!" she chimed, leaving the two volleyball players behind.
Damn, why are you running away! she thought.
As Y/N walked away, Bokuto's cheerful demeanor faded slightly as he realized his mistake. He looked at Akaashi, who was now clearly troubled by the unintended reveal.
"Did I just...?" Bokuto began, scratching his head.
Akaashi sighed and gave Bokuto a pointed look. "Yes, you mentioned the note."
Bokuto's eyes widened as he registered the gravity of his slip. "Oh no, I didn't mean to—"
Akaashi cut him off gently. "It's alright. Let's just be more careful about discussing it around others."
Bokuto nodded, looking apologetic. "Got it. I didn't mean to cause any trouble."

As Y/N continued her rounds, she couldn't shake the feeling of curiosity and unease that had settled over her. The mention of the secret admirer and the note had piqued her interest, even though she was determined to focus on her responsibilities.
While making her way around the school, Y/N found herself near the back of the building, a place she didn't remember visiting often during her duties. The festival's lively noises seemed distant here, replaced by a quiet stillness.
Why am I here? UGHHHHHHH
As she rounded a corner, she heard a faint voice. Instinctively, Y/N hid behind a nearby stack of crates, her heart racing. From her hiding spot, she peeked around the corner and saw a girl standing there, her back to Y/N, talking to Akaashi.
Akaashi was facing the girl, looking somewhat apprehensive but attentive. The conversation seemed serious, and Y/N strained to hear what was being said.
"...so, I just wanted to give you this," the girl said, holding out a small envelope. "I hope you'll come to the spot that is mentioned in here."
Akaashi took the envelope, his expression thoughtful. "Thank you. I'll see what I can do."
Y/N's mind raced. The situation looked like it might be related to the secret admirer, and the envelope in Akaashi's hand only added to her confusion. She felt a pang of jealousy mixed with frustration, but she forced herself to stay hidden, not wanting to interrupt or make her presence known.
As the girl turned and walked away, Y/N waited until she was out of sight before stepping out from her hiding spot. She tried to calm her racing thoughts as she walked back toward the festival grounds.
When she arrived at the volleyball booth later, Akaashi and Bokuto greeted her with smiles.
"Hey, Y/N! Back to join us?" Bokuto asked cheerfully.
Y/N forced a smile, trying to hide her earlier discomfort. "Yeah, just needed a little break from my duties."
As she joined the group and engaged in the festival activities, her mind kept drifting back to what she had witnessed. The encounter behind the school had left her with more questions than answers, and she couldn't help but wonder about the nature of the note and the girl involved.
Akaashi, sensing that Y/N seemed a bit off, tried to engage her in conversation and make her feel more comfortable. Despite his efforts, Y/N's thoughts were occupied with the mysterious note, the girl with Akaashi behind the building and the implications it might have for their relationship.
The festival continued with its usual excitement, but for Y/N, the day was marked by a lingering sense of curiosity and unease. As she navigated through the festivities, she realized that she couldn't ignore her feelings any longer and knew she would need to confront them soon.
