Y/N arrived at school earlier than usual, her mind still lingering on the previous day's events. She walked through the hallways, replaying the note she had found in her locker. She was flustered every time she thought about it, but deep down she wasn't ready to know or face her secret admirer, especially with her growing feelings for Akaashi.
As she approached her locker, she noticed something out of place again—a small corner of folded paper sticking out from behind the books. Y/N's heart skipped a beat as she quickly pulled it out and unfolded it.
"I admire you a lot and I just wanted to let you know that you're amazing, and you're just too perfect and I like that. I hope I can tell you this in person so please be ready anytime."
Y/N's breath caught in her throat as he read the words. She felt cheeks grow warm as she tucked the note away in her bag, trying to calm herself.
Who could be writing these notes? First, Akaashi got himself a secret admirer and now, me?
Just then, she heard footsteps approaching behind her.
"Y/N!" Bokuto's rang out, making her jump. She quickly shut her locker and turned around, her face flushing even more when she saw both Bokuto and her crush, Akaashi standing there, smiling at her.
"H-Hey," she greeted, her voice quieter than usual as she tried to steady her racing heart. Being near Akaashi always made her feel a little nervous these days, especially now that she had realized her feelings for him.
"Is that....a note?!" Bokuto asked, cocking his head slightly.
"Oh....um...yeah?" Y/N responded, she hesitated.
"A secret admirer, perhaps?" Akaashi asked, his tone gentle, yet curious.
"W-Well, I guess so? I mean this is the second time I got it," she continued.
"Second time?! And you didn't tell us about it!" Bokuto exclaimed, dramatically clutches his heart, pretending to be deeply wounded.
"S-Sorry! I didn't mean to keep it as a secret, it's just...I don't want to make a huge deal about it since we already found out who's Akaashi's secret admirer was. So again, I'm sorry for not telling you guys about it," she explained, bowing her head to the both of them, feeling guilty.
"N-No! It's okay, Y/N. I'm just kidding," Bokuto rambled, also feeling guilty for being overdramatic.
"You don't have to apologize, Y/N. We would definitely respect your decision if you wish to not tell us about the notes. We are totally okay with it, Y/N," Akaashi explained, a glimpse of concern can be seen on his eyes.
"A-Alright then, thanks for understanding," she responded, rubbing the back of his neck.
Before the conversation could continue, the bell rang, signaling the start of the first class. Bokuto groaned in disappointment, "Awwwww, I wanted to talk about this more!"
Y/N laughed lightly, relieved for the interruption. "Maybe later," she said, adjusting her bag on her shoulder as they began to head to class. As they walked, she felt Akaashi fall in step beside her, and her heart raced just a little faster.

After school, the boys had volleyball practice, leaving Y/N alone in the student council room. She sat quietly at her desk, working on homework and finishing up her council duties. The room was peaceful, the only sounds being the faint ticking of the clock and the occasional rustle of papers.
Once her tasks were done, Y/N leaned back in her chair and let out a soft sigh. She reached into her bag, pulling out the small collection of notes she had received from her secret admirer. Her eyes skimmed over the familiar handwriting, and as she reread the messages, she couldn't help but smile.
Whoever is writing these notes really seems to know me well, she thought, her face heating up again at the thought.
The sweet words made her feel appreciated in a way she hadn't expected, and while she didn't know who the person was, she couldn't deny that their words made her feel special.
Y/N closed her eyes for a moment, letting herself soak in the warmth of the compliments. But her thoughts kept circling back to one person—Akaashi. As much as the notes flattered her, her heart kept telling her that her feelings for him were more than just a passing crush.
With a soft sigh, she packed up her things and left the council room, heading to her locker to grab the last of her books before heading home. When she opened the door, another small, folded note fell to the ground.
She bent down to pick it up, her heart skipping a beat as she read the words:
"Meet me at the library after school. I'll be waiting for you and hope to make you My One and Only."
Y/N stared at the note, her mind buzzing with conflicting emotions. Her secret admirer wanted to meet her, and she knew this was the moment she had been anticipating. But something inside her hesitated. She wasn't sure if she was ready for this—especially with how strongly her feelings for Akaashi had grown.
What should I do? she wondered, biting her lip as she held the note tightly in her hand.
With her heart racing and her mind spinning, Y/N made her decision.
I'll go... but I'm not sure what I'll say when I get there.
