The maknae line - Jungkook, Jimin, and Taehyung - walked down the street, enjoying a rare day off from their busy schedule. They lived together in a small dorm, and today they had decided to take a break from music and choreography to buy some groceries.
As they walked, they joked and laughed, enjoying each other's company. Taehyung, still struggling with the pressures of fame, felt a sense of relief wash over him. Being with his members, away from the spotlight, was just what he needed.
As they turned a corner, they stumbled upon a small market. And that's when they saw her - Jennie, the trainee from YG Entertainment. She was standing alone, looking at some fruits and vegetables.
Jungkook, Jimin, and Taehyung exchanged surprised glances. What was she doing here?
Jennie looked up, caught their eye, and smiled. "Hey," she said, walking towards them.
The maknae line nodded, still in shock. "Hey," Taehyung replied, trying to sound casual.
As they stood there, awkwardly, Jennie asked, "What brings you guys here?"
Jungkook shrugged. "Just buying some groceries. We live around here."
Jennie nodded. "I'm actually living around here too"
The maknae line nodded, still trying to process the coincidence.
Jennie smiled and chatted with the maknae line as they ran into her at the market. She was buying groceries to help her mother, now that she was back home after leaving YG Entertainment.
As they talked, Jungkook asked casually, "So, when are you going to debut? We're all excited to see you on stage!"
Jennie's expression faltered, and she felt a wave of shame wash over her. She didn't want to admit that she had quit her dreams of becoming an idol.
Without answering, she quickly grabbed her bags and muttered a hasty excuse, before turning and rushing away.
The maknae line watched her go, confused and concerned. "What just happened?" Jimin asked.
Taehyung frowned, sensing that something was wrong. "I don't know, but I think we should respect her boundaries."
As they stood there, Jennie disappeared into the crowd, feeling embarrassed and defeated. She didn't want to face her former friends and acquaintances, now that she had given up on her dreams.
Jungkook nodded. "Yeah, maybe she's just having a bad day."
But Taehyung couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong. He remembered the look of shame and defeat on Jennie's face, and it haunted him.
As they walked back to their dorm, the maknae line couldn't stop talking about the encounter.
"Do you think she's okay?" Jimin asked.
