Taehyung's eyes narrowed as he processed the truth. Jennie was the one calling Joy, worrying about him. But it wasn't concern for his well-being that fueled her actions - it was guilt. She wanted him to move on from her, to use Joy as a rebound.
A burning anger ignited within him. How could she think he'd so easily forget her, forget the pain she'd caused him? Did she think he was that weak?
Taehyung's fists clenched as he lay in bed, his mind racing with hurt and betrayal. He thought they'd shared something real, something true. But now, it seemed like she just wanted to erase him from her life, to replace him with someone else.
The darkness of the midnight hour seemed to closing in around him, suffocating him. Taehyung's anger and hurt simmered, waiting to boil over.

Joy slowly opened her eyes, groggily taking in her surroundings. But her gaze was immediately captured by Taehyung's intense stare. He was sitting on the bed, his eyes fixed on her with a piercing glare.
Joy's heart skipped a beat as she felt a shiver run down her spine. She tried to speak, but her voice caught in her throat. Taehyung's expression was unreadable, but the anger and hurt in his eyes were palpable.
"Taehyung...?" Joy whispered, trying to break the silence.
But Taehyung didn't respond. He just kept staring at her, his gaze burning with a mix of emotions. Joy felt like she was frozen under his scrutiny, unable to move or look away.
The air was thick with tension as the silence stretched out between them. Joy's mind raced, trying to understand what was wrong, but Taehyung's expression gave away nothing.
Taehyung's voice was low and even, but laced with anger. "Why did you reach out to me, Joy? Why did you care?"
Joy hesitated, sensing the danger in Taehyung's tone. But she tried to cover, to protect Jennie's secret. "I...I just wanted to make sure you were okay, Taehyung. You're my friend."
Taehyung's eyes bore into Joy's, his voice dripping with skepticism. "So, you're saying you reached out to me out of pure concern? No other reason?"
Joy nodded, trying to maintain the charade. "Yes, that's right. I just wanted to make sure you're doing okay."
Taehyung leaned in, his voice taking on a menacing tone. "And the dates, Joy? Why did you agree to go out with me? Was it just pity, or did you really want to spend time with me?"
Joy's eyes fluttered, her voice trembling slightly. "I...I wanted to spend time with you, Taehyung. I enjoy your company."
Taehyung's gaze intensified, his words laced with venom. "Enjoy my company? Really? Despite my past rejections, you still wanted to be with me? Why, Joy? What's so special about me?"
Joy's lies were starting to unravel, but she tried to keep up the act. "You're...you're a great person, Taehyung. And I thought maybe we could...try again."
Taehyung's laughter was low and menacing. "Try again? You think I'm that easy to fool, Joy? Keep lying, see where it gets you."
Just as Taehyung was about to press Joy further, the door creaked open and Jungkook and Jimin stumbled in, rubbing their eyes.
"What's going on?" Jungkook mumbled, his voice still heavy with sleep. "Why are you guys yelling so early?"
Jimin yawned, his hair disheveled. "Yeah, can't you see we're trying to sleep?"
Taehyung's gaze remained fixed on Joy. "Ask her. She's been pretending to care about me, but it's all a lie. And it's all because of Jennie."
Jimin's eyes snapped open, fully awake now. "Jennie? What does she have to do with this?"
