Joy, being the social media enthusiast that she is, notices Taehyung's cryptic posts on Instagram. She senses that something is off and decides to reach out to him via direct message.
"Hey Tae, what's going on? Your posts seem a bit...off. Is everything okay?" Joy types out, sending the message into the digital ether.
Taehyung, still trying to process his emotions, is taken aback by Joy's concern. He hadn't expected anyone to notice his subtle hints on social media, let alone reach out to him.
He hesitates for a moment before typing out a response. "I'm fine, Joy. Just dealing with some stuff."
Joy senses that Taehyung is not okay and decides to probe further. "If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here for you. No judgments, just a listening ear."
Taehyung's response to Joy's message is now tinged with a hint of guilt and awkwardness. He remembers how he had politely rejected her advances in the past, citing his feelings for Jennie as the reason.
Joy's message brings up a mix of emotions in Taehyung. He's grateful for her concern, but also feels a pang of regret for having hurt her in the past.
He types out a response, trying to be kind but also cautious. "Thanks for reaching out, Joy. I appreciate your concern. But I'm really not doing great right now."
Joy senses the hesitation in Taehyung's message and wonders if he's still hurting from his unrequited love for Jennie. She decides to be gentle and understanding in her response.
"No pressure, Tae. I just want you to know I'm here for you, as a friend. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here to listen."
Taehyung is touched by Joy's kindness and feels a sense of gratitude towards her. He realizes that maybe, just maybe, he misjudged her in the past.

Taehyung and Joy start hanging out more often, bonding over their shared love of music and art. They go on casual coffee dates, attend concerts, and even collaborate on a few creative projects.
The BTS members notice Taehyung's newfound friendship with Joy and exchange awkward glances. They're relieved that Taehyung is trying to move on from Jennie, but also can't help feeling a little uneasy that it's not Jennie by his side.
Taehyung and Joy are hanging out at a trendy cafe, laughing and chatting like normal friends.
"I'm really glad we're doing this, Joy," Taehyung says, meaning every word. "You're an amazing distraction from... everything."
Joy smiles, her eyes sparkling with warmth. "I'm happy to be your distraction, Tae. But don't think you're getting off that easy. I want to help you work through your feelings too."
Taehyung raises an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? And how do you plan on doing that?"
Joy leans in, her voice taking on a conspiratorial tone. "Well, first, we're going to finish these coffee and then... we're going to karaoke. And I'm not leaving until you sing your heart out."
Taehyung chuckles, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders. "You're on."
Meanwhile, the BTS members are discussing Taehyung's newfound friendship with Joy.
"I don't know, guys. It's just weird seeing Tae with someone else," Jimin says, frowning.
"Come on, Hyung.. Tae needs to move on," Jungkook replies. "And Joy seems really cool."
Suga nods in agreement. "Yeah, and maybe this is exactly what Tae needs. A fresh start."
But as they watch Taehyung and Joy journey together, they can't help but feel a twinge of unease. Is Taehyung really moving on, or is he just running from his feelings?
