KGOMOTSO

"So girl he just did a hit and run like that? Girl leave him. He's not worth your time." Khosi says to me while on her phone. She's been glued to it after we couldn't find a good movie to watch.

I sent him so many messages that I ended up deleting because he wouldn't reply to them. It only had one grey tick. Since last week! This guy is totally weird. Listen, Weirdest Man Of The Year award would go to Lesego. I don't know how that head of his works. I must say, I got fooled by those flowers shem.

I'm back at my complex in Centurion.
I moved here not too long ago and I'm still new in Pretoria, but I've got Hlodi who doesn't live too far from me, but she, somehow, is sometimes not around.

Khosi: "So, plans for tonight?"

Kgomotso: "Since I don't have much to do so I'll just sit and cook."

Khosi: "Really? That's all?"

Kgomotso: "The girls aren't even here so what's there to do?"

Khosi: "Hayi, okay."

She goes back to her phone. She's been on her phone since she got here. Her eyes widen and her mouth grows.

Khosi: "Lightning Kunupi has a girlfriend?!"

Lightning Kunupi? Who's that?
Is that--?
No. It can't be him.

Kgomotso: "Who's Lightning Kunupi?" She knows with this look. I want answers.

Khosi: "Don't you know him? That rugby player man! From the Rugby World Cup?"

Lesego plays rugby?

Kgomotso: "Please show me the picture." She turns the phone to my direction.

Whew! It's not him.

Khosi: "I'm telling you now, girls on Instagram will be crying!"

Kgomotso: "Crying over a taken man in 2015? Please."

Khosi: "Do you see this man, Motso? Do you see this hunk? He is HOOOTTT! Listen! This man can even take away my virgini--"

Kgomotso: "YEYI! Watch it."

She's still Christian. Did she forget that?

Khosi: "She's kinda chubby, but the chubby-ness kinda suits her, if that makes sense. She's cute."

I take it she's referring to the woman next to that rugby player.

No man.
Kunupi? Kunupi? Kunupi! Yes!
They're related?

Kgomotso: "Khosi, please show me that picture again."

Khosi: "Okay." She says showing her phone to me.

I take a closer look. The eyes. They look almost the same. He's lighter than what Lesego looks like.

Khosi: "What? You're eyeing on him too? I don't blame you."

Kgomotso: "No. It's not that. I was just checking something."

I have a strong feeling they're brothers. I never knew that he has a famous brother.

LESEGO

I'm conflicted. I don't know whether I should stay here or go back home. But my father and Itumeleng are there. They can handle it.

Those bloody Ndlanzis think they can just get away with stealing our cows? They have another thing coming!

My phone rings. It's Rele.
