YONELA

Letting Mantwa and Busi move in was the best decision I made last month. Especially since I've got people keeping me company while Mr Ofori is still in Ghana. I told the rest of the girls about him some time after I announced it to Motso.

Motso. Oh, Motso. The fact that God woke me up at 3AM this morning and asked me to prayfor her is very... strange yet very concerning. I haven't seen her since that Sunday she saw Simphiwe for the first time in a long time. From there on she hasn't been in contact with us. She too hasn't been active on WhatsApp. No status update. Actually, she doesn't really post on her status nor does she have any Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account. She only has Snapchat to take pictures, but overall, she's quiet when it comes to socials, but never when it comes to messaging us. Ever since she's been with that creeped that bumped into her that restaurant back in December last year, she hasn't been talking to us as much.
It's best I should tell Mantwa. She'll know what to say.
I call them and we sit on the couch right in front of the heater. It's August and I'm glad it's the last month of winter. I'm so tired of this season really.

Mantwa: "You look unsettled."

Sometimes I'm convinced God gave Mantwa some sort of supernatural powers to read things and faces. She'll still look at me and will say it's discernment.

Yonela: "I am."

I can never lie to her. None of us can.

Mantwa: "What's wrong?"

Yonela: "It's Motso."

Busi: "Motso? What about her?"

I exhale before briefly looking down and looking back up.

Yonela: "The Holy Spirit woke me up and told me to pray for her at 3AM."

Busi on one hand looked surprised but Mantwa on the other doesn't seem surprised at all.

Mantwa: "I saw this coming."

Yonela: "Haibo?"

"What do you mean?" Busi and I both say at the same time.

Mantwa: "I mean exactly that. This is not the first time any message about her has come up."

Busi and I both look lost.

Mantwa: "Ever since I saw that guy for the first time, it all started off as conviction, then it lead to some sort of discernment, and then I had a dream."

Busi: "What was the dream?"

Mantwa: "It was just her walking into a tunnel. She was wearing a wedding dress that had blood. We all were trying to stop her from entering, but it's like she ignored us and still went ahead and disappeared into the distance."

Busi and I look at each other. How come she didn't say anything all along? We could've prayed for her.

Yonela: "We need to pray for her, then."

LESEGO

I left everything to come this side. It was time I faced the one thing I tried to forget about my whole life which is everything, and I mean everything. Starting with the place where it all happened; this place.
I can never call it home. It never was. The only place I can actually call home is my house back in Sandton, where Kgomotso came and turned into home. It's like she brought all that I was missing, all that I never grew up with. Every meal that I ate, I could feel that it was cooked with love. Everything she ever does, she does it with love and that's why I don't want to leave her and that's why I want to fix my mistakes, it's the only way.
