LESEGO

I'm actually pretty excited for Rele. If anything, I'm the happiest out of all the brothers. That's because I knew. I wanted Kgomotso to come along with but I thought it was too early. I'm going to let Rele have his shine for now since know one knows who this woman is, except me of couse.

I'm following Rele's car and Thato is with me. There was no way I was going to be in the same car with him and his girlfriend and as always, Thato plays his RnB songs in my car. Volume on max. But because I'm in a good mood. I'll allow it. He's even playing "So Into You" by Tamia.
Funny how his daughter's name even came about.
Tamia was born in a moving car and it so happened that Thato was the one rushing to the hospital that day and he was playing this very song whilst Kaone was giving birth. Pretty odd and weird if you ask me.

__________

We've made it. The first person we see through the windscreen is Kaone. She's forever holding that baby, man. That baby is always covered in blankets. Even in this January heat!

Lesego: "Thato, how old is Omphile?"

Thato: "Five months."

Lesego: "Five months?! Don't you think your wife is suffocating him with those blankets? I think it's time he also gets some exposure man. He's old enough to get exposure."

Thato: "And what do you know about babies wena?"

Lesego: "Enough to know that he's old enough to be exposed. That poor child needs a break from his mom."

Thato: "Mxm. O bua masepa yanong. Nx!" He says right before leaving my car.

Idiot.

KGOMOTSO

"Hey baby. How was the interview?"

I'm surprised he's asking. I thought he would just bribe them and let me see the rest for myself.

Kgomotso [through text]: "It went well. They said they'd wait for me to graduate first before I get the job."

Lesego [through text]: "Good. That's what I paid them to do."

Idiot.

Kgomotso [through text]: "So how is Hartswater?"

Lesego [through text]: "Hot as usual. I just want to get this day over with so I can come back this side and just be with you. I've missed you."

I can't believe I'm blushing over this text right now laying flat on my stomach on the couch and dangling my legs. Yeses, I'm acting like a teenager again. As weird and random as he is, he can be a romantic person sometimes. I don't even know what makes me love this man but I love him. You can say we've been together for a month and a half though he never asked me to be his girlfriend. I don't think he's going to ask because in his head I'm already his and we're just going with that.

I wonder when is he going to introduce me to his parents seeing that his famous rugby player brother is doing so. And speaking of parents, I haven't spoken to them or seen them since I came back from Turf. I wonder if my father is still in Lesotho seeing that he I didn't see him on Christmas and New Year's Eve last month.
I should definitely check on them. Let me do that.

It's just ringing. Perhaps it's the network.

Mama: "Kgomotso?"

Kgomotso: "Thobela Mma. Can you hear me?"

Mama: "Yes I can."

Okay, at least. The network in Limpopo can be very bad.

Kgomotso: "How are you ma? Gape it's been a while since we last spoke."
