#22 | TIPSY KISSES?

The final day of the wedding dawned bright and beautiful, with the sun casting a golden glow over the resort. Excitement buzzed in the air as guests prepared for the ceremony. It was as if the entire island was celebrating love, and you couldn't help but get caught up in the romantic atmosphere.

After a leisurely breakfast, you returned to your room to start getting ready. The ceremony was set to take place in the late afternoon, right as the sun began to set over the ocean, painting the sky with hues of pink and orange.

As you stood in front of the mirror, carefully applying your makeup, you couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. The events of the past few days had left you feeling both exhilarated and anxious, and now, as you prepared to attend your cousin's wedding, those emotions seemed to bubble to the surface.

"Hey, you okay?" Kenma's voice broke through your thoughts, and you turned to see him leaning against the doorframe, his gaze soft and concerned.

You smiled, a small, nervous laugh escaping your lips. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little nervous, I guess. Weddings always make me think a lot, maybe also make me a little emotional."

Kenma nodded, stepping further into the room. "I get that. There's something about weddings... they have a way of making you think about things you normally don't."

You glanced at him, noticing the way the sunlight filtered through the window, casting a soft glow on his features. His hair was slightly tousled, a stray strand falling across his forehead, and for a moment, you were struck by how different he seemed. More open, more present.

"Yeah, I guess you're right," you replied, turning back to the mirror. You adjusted the straps of your dress, a navy-blue gown that hugged your curves and made you feel more confident than you had in days. The silky fabric felt cool against your skin, and the off-shoulder sleeves added a touch of romance.

Kenma's eyes swept over you, and you noticed the way his gaze lingered on the curve of your shoulder, the way his lips parted slightly as if to say something but then hesitated. "You look... amazing, Y/N. Seriously."

Your cheeks warmed at the compliment, and you felt a flutter of something in your chest—a feeling that had been growing stronger with each passing day. "Thanks, Kenma. You clean up pretty well yourself," you said, gesturing to his outfit.

Kenma had opted for a tailored black suit with a crisp white shirt and a navy tie that matched your dress. The formal attire suited him, giving him an air of sophistication that made your heart skip a beat.

"Shall we?" he asked, extending his arm to you.You looped your arm through his, feeling a surge of warmth at the simple gesture. "Let's go," you said, trying to ignore the way your heart raced at the thought of spending the day with him.

The wedding ceremony took place on a secluded stretch of beach, with the ocean serving as a stunning backdrop. Rows of white chairs were arranged on the sand, leading up to a beautiful floral arch where the bride and groom would exchange their vows. The setting was nothing short of magical, with the soft sound of waves crashing against the shore and the scent of salty sea air mingling with the fragrance of the flowers.
