We were still at the orphanage as the director had told us to stay for lunch. Coincidentally they were also having a picnic near the orphanage. Naturally me and Jake had decided to have our picnic with the children.

"It's always a pleasure when you come to visit us princess." The director said.

"Thank you, i'll try to be visiting more often now." I continued, "if there are any events happening at the orphanage please let me know and i'll try my best to attend."

The director smiled and nodded her head, she then turned her head to Jake to speak to him, i was colouring with one of the girls but also trying to listen as bad as it was.

"I haven't seen you with any of the other royal family members before, are you new?" The director asked while i cautiously listened.

"I've known the royal family for quite a long time but i recently started working for the princess." Jake explained.

"Ah. Are you single then?" The director asked with no hesitation, my colouring went out of the lines.

Jake was silent for a little, probably caught off guard, "yes i am but"— The director cut him off.

"I have a daughter about the same age as the princess so two years younger than you, would you be interested?" I was actually in awe of how easily she had asked him, to have that confidence would be wonders.

"I'm sorry but i already have someone i'm waiting for." Jake didn't hesitate to speak.

"Oh don't be sorry, i hope your potential relationship works out." The director said enthusiastically, "I believe once you have found your other half you should do your best to keep them." The director then tapped me, "right princess?"

I was slightly surprised and quickly smiled while nodding my head. We talked for a little more about trivial matters and then spent some time playing with the children. I hadn't spoken to Jake at all during those times mainly because we were separated.

I bid goodbye to the children and the director and so did Jake. We headed into our car and set off, just when we approached a field the car abruptly stopped working. Jake tried multiple times but the car didn't work.

"So i think we have a problem with the car." He said, "I tried calling but there's no service."

We got out of the car to see if there were any passer-by's that could help us. The sun was setting and no one had come so far.

"I'm so sorry, i should have checked the car before we left." Jake said not looking at me.

"It's not your fault, these things happen and we can just think of this as a fun little trip." I said reassuring him, just then an elderly woman who looked like a local approached us.

"Do you both need help dear?" She asked. She was wearing a tie hat and had a basket of fruits.

"Yes please, our car has just broken down." I said.

She thought for a moment, "unfortunately there are no mechanics available until the morning, if you need a place to stay i can help." She analysed my face as if she knew i was debating about what to do, "You don't need to worry, our village isn't far and nobody would be able to take the car, the people are all nice as well."

I felt slightly reassured but also slightly nervous since I had never been in this situation before. I wasn't worried about the car i was more worried about me and Jake. Jake had noticed my worry.

"Don't worry i'm going to be right next to you, besides the lady seems genuine." He was right.

We walked it to the village with the lady and it was surprisingly not far as i'd imagined it. The village was beautiful with assorted houses.

"My house is just here, we have spare rooms so we rent it out for others, we luckily have one more room for you both." The elderly lady said, i was trying to make sure i heard her say the last part.

We had arrived to the room, "here it is, I'll let you both settle in and i'll bring some clothes and food in a little while." She said.

We both thanked her immensely and then headed inside the room, it was quite spacious with two mattresses on the floor. It was cozy.

"I analysed as much as i could and if we become faced with any danger, the best escape would be through the windows or the back door." Jake said as we sat down.

I laughed a little, "thank you Jake but let's just rest, you don't need to be my bodyguard for now."

Just then there was a knock on the door, i went ahead to open it but Jake quickly stopped me and went in front of me, he opened the door and to both of our surprise we found an elderly man holding clothes and food, "hello i'm Mrs Nam's husband, she told me to bring these to you."

Jake thanked him and took the food and clothes from him, "if you need anything else please let us know." The man said before he left. He soon came back though, "I'm sorry i forgot to tell you we called the police about your car and they said they will fix your vehicle first thing in the morning."

We both thanked the man and just before the door shut i caught a glimpse of the elderly man hugging his wife, it warmed my heart.

Jake set the food down and handed me my clothes, "i'll change in the bathroom you can change in here." He said as i nodded my head. After changing I looked at my clothes and for some reason they remind me of my mother; my birth mother.

Jake sat opposite me as we began to eat our food,

"By the way, there's only one blanket."
