NA-RA

"Read a book before you go to your sleeping chambers Na-Ra." i sighed listening to my mother's orders, "remember to keep your posture straight!" she added on.

Upon arriving to my 'sleeping chambers' i immediately fell onto the bed with my mother's voice echoing inside my head "keep your posture straight." Unknowingly i got off my bed and changed while also grabbing a book.

knock knock.

"Come in." i replied while still keeping my eyes on the book.

"I need a favour." I rolled my eyes at the voice and closed the book, "please."

"You're going out again aren't you Heeseung." He shut the door behind him as he entered, "Let me guess, you're going to another party?"

He looked at me pleadingly, it was funny how he was the eldest, "yes i am, i need your help to sneak me out when the guards aren't looking, my friends are going to be waiting outside..." He paused for a moment, "i"ll give you whatever you want." He added on.

I thought for a moment, "take me with you."

"No." He instantly replied and i don't know why i bothered asking, "it isn't a place for you."

"it isn't a place for you either as the future king. Do any of the people there know your the prince?" I asked feeling annoyed.

He was silent for a few seconds, "i'll take you next time, but just not today." Although i was still annoyed, my eyes gleamed.

"fine i'll help you." He smiled and talked me through what to do, as we were about to leave the castle i caught him grabbing a certain set of keys.

"okay so you just need to distract the guards, and Jake will arrive from the back where i'll meet him." Jake is one of Heeseung's best friend.

"okay." i replied and headed to the guards as Heeseung headed off. I began mumbling a bunch of words when i could hear a roaring engine in the distance. It was Jake.

I could see Heeseung meeting up with Jake on his bike, oh how effortlessly attractive he looked taking off his helmet. "Your highness." The guard interrupted, "could you repeat that again i didn't quite understand."

Dragging my eyes away and back to the guard i had to quickly think of something, "yes i was saying if you have seen my favourite book? The one with the blue and white cover?"

The guard thought for a moment while i made sure Heeseung and Jake had left.

"I'm sorry your highness but i have not seen that book, if i do find it i'll let you know."

"Thank you." i smiled and headed back inside, feeling tired i climbed into my bed and drifted off to sleep.

"NA-RA, WHERE IS HEESEUNG!" I abruptly shot up from my bed, both half asleep and half awake. My mother stormed into my room, "where is my son?" She emphasised the word 'my' since she wasn't my birth mother.

It was a long story really, my father had an affair with a non royal subject and i was born out of wedlock. Then my birth mother ran off and i've never seen her since. That was what i was told since from a young age.

"Heeseung's left." I said half awake, before she could begin screaming again and blow off all of our ears i continued my sentence, "he has left for training."

Her composure had slightly eased, "that's right, he has training to become the future king, at least he knows how to wake up on time and spend his day productively." She looked at me with disgust. Oh if only she knew.

I was angry. Angry at her. And angry at Heeseung . He was probably still out partying somewhere.

"oh your father wants to see you." She said before she left.

I quickly freshened up while the maids set out my breakfast and then i made my way to my father's study. He was also infrequently home due to multiple business meetings and trips as the current King.

knock knock

"come in." I heard my father say as i opened the door. "ah my favourite daughter."

"i'm your only daughter father." I replied back smiling.

"i wanted to talk to you." He said as he gestured for me to sit down, "is everything okay?"

"of course everything is fine!" I replied back.

"okay, i just wanted to check up, it's great to check up on your father too!" He said amusingly.

i rolled my eyes in a comedic way, "your never home though."

Father sighed and softened his gazed, "i know, but don't worry, now that Heeseung's coronation is coming up, i plan to be home more often." He paused, "there was something else i needed to say, now that people will know about Heeseung's coronation and you will
be meeting others i have assigned you a bodyguard.

This was not what i was expecting at all, "a bodyguard? but i'm always home."

"that's exactly why, i know you long to go out and meet others, so i thought about it and decided that i'll feel at peace if i know you have someone trustworthy with you."

I was slightly excited as this meant my father was allowing me to step out of the castle, of course i was allowed to step out before but never like this where i can actually explore places. "Someone trustworthy?" I questioned, "that means you must know him?"

"Yes he is friends with your brother Heeseung"
