The roar of the crowd had faded, replaced by the echoing silence of the empty stadium. The air hung heavy with the lingering scent of sweat and victory. Gavi, still buzzing with adrenaline, leaned against the sink in the cramped bathroom, his reflection a blur in the mirror. He ran a hand through his damp hair, trying to tame the unruly strands that had escaped his headband.

"You were incredible out there," a voice murmured, warm and close.

Gavi turned, his heart skipping a beat. João Félix stood beside him, a mischievous grin playing on his lips.

"You weren't so bad yourself," Gavi replied, a playful smirk tugging at his own lips.

Their eyes locked, a silent conversation passing between them. The air crackled with unspoken tension, a mixture of admiration and something else, something deeper, something Gavi couldn't quite name.

Before either of them could say another word, João leaned in, his lips brushing against Gavi's. Gavi, caught off guard, froze for a moment, his breath catching in his throat. Then, a strange feeling of warmth spread through him, a tingling sensation that sent shivers down his spine. He closed his eyes, his lips meeting João's in a tentative kiss.

The kiss was brief, a fleeting spark in the darkness. But it was enough to send a jolt of electricity through Gavi's body. He pulled back, his cheeks flushed, his heart pounding.

Just then, the door swung open, and Pedri stepped inside. He froze, his eyes widening in shock as he took in the scene before him. João, still leaning close to Gavi, pulled back, his eyes meeting Pedri's with a mixture of amusement and defiance.

Pedri, his face a mask of fury, stepped forward, his eyes blazing with anger. He grabbed João by the arm, pulling him away from Gavi with a force that surprised them both.

"Get your hands off him," Pedri growled, his voice a low growl.

João, his expression unreadable, simply shrugged off Pedri's grip. "Relax, Pedri," he said, his voice calm and steady. "It's just a little fun."

"Fun?" Pedri scoffed, his anger rising. "This isn't fun, João. This is betrayal. This is disrespect."

He glared at João, his eyes blazing with anger. "If I ever see you touch Gavi again, I swear I'll break your face."

João, his eyes narrowed, stepped closer to Pedri, his voice a low growl. "You wouldn't dare," he said, his voice dripping with challenge.

The tension in the air was thick enough to cut with a knife. Gavi, caught between them, felt a wave of panic wash over him. He didn't know what to do, what to say. He just wanted this to be over.

"Pedri," Gavi pleaded, his voice trembling. "Please, just stop."

Pedri, his eyes still locked on João, ignored Gavi's plea. "I'm serious, João," he said, his voice a low growl. "If you ever talk to him again, I'll make sure you regret it."

He turned and stormed out of the bathroom, slamming the door behind him. The silence that followed was deafening.

Gavi, his heart pounding, looked at João, his eyes wide with fear and confusion. He didn't know what to say, what to do. He just wanted to disappear.

João, his expression unreadable, simply stared at Gavi for a long moment. Then, he sighed, his shoulders slumping.

"I'm sorry," he said, his voice a low murmur. "I didn't mean to upset him."

Gavi, still reeling from the shock of the encounter, simply nodded. He didn't know what to say. He felt like he was caught in a whirlwind, his world spinning out of control.

"I'll see you around," João said, his voice a whisper. He turned and walked out of the bathroom, leaving Gavi alone with his swirling thoughts and his racing heart.

The air in the locker room was thick with tension. Gavi, still reeling from the events in the bathroom, sat on a bench, his head in his hands. He didn't know what to do, what to say. He just wanted to disappear.

Pedri, his jaw clenched, stormed out of the bathroom, his anger simmering like a volcano about to erupt. He marched straight towards João Félix, who was nonchalantly chatting with a few teammates.

"Félix," Pedri growled, his voice dripping with venom. "We need to talk."

Félix, surprised by Pedri's sudden aggression, raised an eyebrow. "About what, Pedri?" he asked, his voice laced with amusement.

"About you kissing Gavi," Pedri spat, his eyes burning with fury.

Félix's amusement vanished, replaced by a flicker of surprise. "What are you talking about?" he asked, feigning innocence.

"Don't play dumb with me," Pedri snarled, stepping closer. "I saw you. I saw you kissing him in the bathroom."

Félix, his face hardening, crossed his arms. "So what if I did?" he challenged. "What are you going to do about it?"

Pedri, his anger reaching boiling point, lunged forward, his fist connecting with Félix's jaw. The sound of the impact echoed through the locker room, silencing the chatter of the players.

Félix, caught off guard, stumbled back, his hand flying to his jaw. He glared at Pedri, his eyes blazing with anger.

"You're crazy," he hissed, his voice laced with venom.

Pedri, his chest heaving with rage, leaned closer to Félix, his voice a low growl. "Don't you ever touch him again," he warned. "Don't you ever even think about him in that way."

He turned and stormed out of the locker room, leaving Félix standing there, his face contorted with a mixture of anger and pain.

The locker room was silent, the players watching the scene unfold with a mixture of shock and apprehension. Gavi, his heart pounding in his chest, watched Pedri leave, his eyes filled with a mixture of fear and confusion. He didn't know what to do, what to say. He just wanted to disappear.
