The air in their room was thick with unspoken words, the silence a tangible entity pressing down on them. Pedri sat on the bed, his back ramrod straight, his face a mask of simmering anger. Gavi, unsure of how to approach the situation, stood awkwardly by the window, the city lights blurring through the glass.

"You're not even going to explain?" Pedri finally snapped, his voice laced with bitterness.

Gavi turned, his heart sinking at the accusation in Pedri's tone. "Explain what, Pedri?" he asked, his voice strained. "What happened at the restaurant?"

Pedri's anger flared. "You think I'm blind, Gavi?" he spat, his voice rising. "You think I don't see the way she looked at you, the way you looked back?"

Gavi felt a wave of confusion wash over him. "It was just a kiss, Pedri," he said, his voice trembling. "It meant nothing."

"Nothing?" Pedri scoffed, his eyes narrowed. "You think a kiss means nothing? You think I'm some naive fool?"

Gavi, his patience wearing thin, finally snapped. "What are you talking about, Pedri?" he yelled, his voice echoing in the small room. "It was just a friendly gesture, nothing more. You're making a big deal out of nothing."

Pedri stood up, his face contorted with anger. "Nothing?" he roared, his voice shaking. "Don't you remember what happened last week? Don't you remember how you almost lost everything? You were lucky, Gavi, lucky that you didn't get hurt, lucky that you didn't end up like..."

He stopped, his voice cracking, his eyes filled with a pain that Gavi couldn't decipher. The memory of the accident, the horrifying crash, the fear that had gripped him, all came flooding back. He had been reckless, foolish, and he knew it. But Pedri's outburst, his veiled threats, left Gavi bewildered.

"What are you trying to say, Pedri?" Gavi asked, his voice quiet, his heart pounding. "What are you so angry about?"

Pedri turned away, his jaw clenched, his shoulders rigid. "I'm angry because you're so careless, so reckless," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "You don't seem to understand what you almost lost."

Gavi, his confusion growing, tried to reach out to Pedri, but Pedri stepped back, his eyes filled with a mixture of anger and something else, something Gavi couldn't quite grasp.

"Look, Pedri," Gavi said, his voice softer now. "We're just friends, you know? I can do whatever I want. Why are you so jealous?"

Pedri didn't answer. He turned away, his face a mask of pain and anger. Gavi, his heart aching, felt a wave of frustration wash over him. He didn't understand Pedri's outburst, his sudden anger, his refusal to explain. He felt a wave of frustration wash over him, a feeling of being misunderstood, of being pushed away.

He stood for a moment, his heart heavy with a mixture of confusion and hurt, before turning and leaving the room, the door closing softly behind him. He found himself at Ansu's door, his hand hovering over the knob. He needed someone, someone who wouldn't judge him, someone who would understand. He took a deep breath, knocked on the door, and waited, his heart pounding in his chest.
