I am here for the Anna and Tyler moments; I am just loving their story.

Pay no mind to any errors that occurred.

Also bonus points to those of you that realized the chapter titles are from the Twisters soundtrack :)

Annabelle's POV

I'm not going anywhere Annabelle.

The words still repeated in my head, my cheek still tingled where I felt his lips touch it so softly.

Standing on the porch, watching the sunrise, I thought back to the previous night.  I wasn't sure when I had fallen asleep in the barn, but I remembered the feeling of being lifted into strong arms, and I remembered how comfortable it felt, how safe I felt. I remembered his arms tightening around me as I pulled myself closer to him, and the slight cedar and leather smell as I buried my face into the crook of his neck.

A throat cleared behind me, and I turned to see Tyler opening the screen door and moving to stand behind me. His signature cowboy hat had been replaced with a baseball cap turned backwards, the flannel he wore was tucked in showing off the familiar belt buckle. I let my eyes slowly take him in, take in the way his sleeves were rolled up his forearms slightly, and how the top two button were undone, before finally letting my eyes lock on his giving him a small smile.

Turning back to the rising sun, I brought the coffee mug in my hand up to my lips. His body heat warmed my back as he stopped directly behind me, and I had to fight not to lean back into him. We stood quietly for a few minutes before he finally spoke.

"You ready for this D.C.?" he asked, and I thought about my answer for a moment, looking from the sun to his truck waiting for us, trailer hitched to the back. Taking a deep breath, I looked over my shoulder at him. His hands were on his hips as he looked down at me, his eyes soft and patient.

I nodded giving a final glance at the sun before walking turning around to walk back inside, Tyler close behind me. Cathy had breakfast set out for us when we walked into the kitchen, but my stomach was in knots, leaving me pushing the food around the plate before finally getting up and ready to leave. Getting into the passenger seat I tried to breathe through my nerves, as Tyler pulled away from Cathy's house and in the direction I had given him. There was no set place, we were just following the road until the radar showed us something that was promising.

After an hour on the road, I started to get antsy and looked around the truck, curious about the man beside me. Taking my seatbelt off for a second to reach into the back seat and grab a water bottle, I scowled at all the tools and equipment on the back seats.

"Wow, what is all this for?" I asked curiously lifting a canister on the floor that looked like an artillery shell. I couldn't help myself; this man had completely taken me by surprise.

"Hey, what are you touching back there?" Tyler asked me and I saw his hand reach back to try and grab whatever I had, but it was out of reach. I smiled, continuing to look in one of the tool bags and heard him sigh, but I could hear the amusement as he spoke. "Will you stop and put your seat belt back on."

Rolling my eyes I turned back into the passenger seat and clicked my belt back into place before looking around the area in front of me. "You have a lot of stuff in here." I commented pulling the visor above my head down.

"That's a mirror." I heard him say and I smiled flipping it back up before reaching for the glove box and clicking it open. My eyes got big as stuff fell out of it and I tried to keep it contained.

"Shit." I cursed pushing the contents back into compartment, before scowling at a few of the pictures that were on top. "Wait, are these what you give your fans?" I asked, holding up one of the pictures.
