After 10 minutes of intense fighting, the whole place was quiet. We stood surrounded by the monsters' lifeless bodies.

"Whoa, that was insane!" Eirak exclaimed. "Let's split the kills. I got 19, Thrain got 19, Lyrien got 15, Kael got 10, Saji got 10, and Kajo got 7." Saji and I looked at each other, grinning.

"Hey, we may not have gotten the most kills," Saji said, "but we held our own out there."

"Definitely," I agreed. "And our skills were not so bad in actual team fight."

"I know, right?" Eirak said, clapping us on the back. "Kajo, your healing magic was amazing! I've never seen anyone use it like that before."

"I think that should be you've never seen any healer before" i said to him with a smirk.

"Yeah, the healers we've got aren't really healers as their healing skills are buffs and it doesn't do much for anyone except themselves"

"Oh, and Saji, your lightning bolts were incredible!" Lyrien added.

"Why didn't you use those skills earlier?" Saji and I exchanged a look. "Using our skills like that leaves us drained," I explained. "We need to absorb the MP from the mana crystals to refill our energy."

"Ah, I see," Kael said, nodding. "So it's like a special reserve power."

"Exactly," Saji said. "We can't use it all the time, but when we need it, it's there."

"That's so cool," Lyrien said, eyes wide with excitement. "I'm glad we're a team. We can learn from each other and get stronger together."

"Definitely," Thrain agreed.

"Let's take a break and absorb some MP from these mana crystals. The dungeon respawn rate is 24 hours so none of those monsters will respawn anytime soon" Eirak said and we all sat down crosslegged
.....

Two hours later...

"Alright, before we enter the boss room, let's go over the plan," Thrain said, looking at Saji and me. "There are three waves of monsters inside, ranging from level 1 to 5. If we're lucky, we won't face any mutants or worse, a mutant boss." I gave Eirak a nervous glance.

"What's a mutant boss?" Saji asked.

Eirak and Lyrien looked at each other in surprise. "You two don't know what a mutant boss is?" Eirak asked.

"We don't know anything about dungeons," I admitted. "Our dads never told us."

Kael chuckled. "That's because they want you to learn through experience. If you knew what to expect, you'd be too confident and not cautious enough."

Lyrien nodded. "Your dads want you to be prepared for anything, not just what you expect to happen."

Thrain answered the question. "Well, let's just say that a mutant boss is something we don't want to face. None of us can take one down yet, not even together."

I swallowed hard, a bit nervous about what lay ahead.

"Once we're inside, we need to wipe out the waves quickly," Eirak said. "If we don't, the boss won't come out, the dungeon won't respawn any monsters, and we'll be stuck inside."

"Got it," Saji said, determination in his voice. "Let's do this."

"Stay sharp, everyone," Thrain said, leading us towards the boss room. "We don't know what's waiting for us inside."
....

As we stepped through the portal of the boss room, we were met with a completely different landscape. Unlike the dark and gloomy exterior, the inside was bright and vibrant. The walls were lined with glittering crystals, and the floor was covered in a soft, lush carpet of green grass. A warm, golden light illuminated the room, making us feel like we had entered a different world.

"Whoa, this is amazing!" Saji exclaimed, looking around in wonder.

"I know, right?" Eirak said, grinning.

"Dungeons can be full of surprises." Lyrien nodded, his eyes scanning the room. "Let's not get too distracted. We need to find the boss and take it down."

But I couldn't help feeling drawn to the beauty of the landscape. I walked forward, my footsteps quiet on the soft grass.

The crystals on the walls seemed to hum with a gentle energy, and I reached out a hand to touch one. It felt warm to the touch, and I could sense a powerful magic emanating from it.

Saji followed me, his eyes wide with curiosity. "Kajo, look at this!" he said, pointing to a cluster of crystals that seemed to be growing from the ground. I nodded, and we walked over to examine them closer.

Guess he is in his friendly mode as he will never call for me like that normally, except it's for trouble.

As we explored the landscape, we stumbled upon a small pool of water. It was crystal clear, and I could see fish swimming in its depths.

Lyrien knelt down to examine it closer. "This water is pure," he said. "We can refill our canteens here."

Thrain nodded, and we took turns refilling our canteens. As we did, I noticed that the golden light in the room seemed to be pulsing with a gentle rhythm. I pointed it out to the others, and we watched in silence as the light seemed to grow brighter and dimmer in time with our heartbeats.

"It's like the room is alive," Saji said, his voice full of wonder.

Eirak nodded. "you're right. All boss rooms are definitely special."

After a few minutes of exploration, we reluctantly made our way towards the boss room.

Eirak raised his hand, and a shimmering barrier of light appeared before us.

"My Paladin's Divine Shield will protect us from harm," he said. "Let's move forward, together."

We followed behind Eirak, our weapons and skills activated.

As we ventured deeper into the room, we saw an approaching view of dust and debris obviously waves of monsters.

The First Wave was about a hundred miles away and they were around thirty of them with their status was visible above their heads like huge sign boards.

- Metal-Clawed Giant Rat Level: 2
- HP: 20
- MP: 20
- Strength: 3
- Attack: 4
- Defense: 2
- Agility: 2
- Drops:
1 Rat Hide, 1 Metal Claw, 1 Steel Fang,  1 Silver Sword, 1 Silver Armor, 10 Mana Crystals, 1 Obsidian Gemstone, 5 copper coins , 1 Gold coin, Arcane Ore.

The second wave was seven hundred meters away from us. It'll take only a few minutes before we collide.

And the third was a kilometer away. I couldn't see them but I could feel them.

They were higher level than the ones outside, but their stats were weak.

"Here we go," Kael said, drawing his daggers. "Let's show them what we're made of."

Time to farm more points.
