"We'll become your subjects as long as you promise not to treat us less"

"I promise" kajo replied and activated his talent as they said the loyalty oath.

"I swear loyalty to you kajo" they said in unison.

[Notification: Loyalty Oath Activated.]

As the words comes out they glow white and felt energized, their thoughts and respect for kajo skyrocketed.

Their loyalty bars were the same and all the pain they had felt washed away and they released collective sighs of satisfaction.

They were finally free. They didn't Think they'd ever be able to escape from the mind control of the towns Overlord.

Elara's face twisted in disgust as Jax, Eli, and Ron took the loyalty oath in agreement with Kajo. "You're betraying our king, our Guild!" she spat, her voice trembling with anger.

Jax, once her closest friend, met her gaze with a calm determination. "We're doing what's best for us, Elara. Our leader doesn't care about us, only our talents."

Elara's eyes welled up with tears. "You're forgetting where we came from – the streets. We're all we have!"

Kajo stepped forward, his eyes filled with empathy. "We're all orphans, Elara. We've all been abandoned or forgotten, and worse of it all our parents that finally loved us were murdered in cold blood i don't see why i should not be able to live my own legacy. But here, with me, you'll find a new family. We'll stick together, no matter what."

Elara's resolve wavered, her anger and hurt slowly giving way to Kajo's words. She looked at Jax, Eli, and Ron, seeing the conviction in their eyes.

With a deep breath, she turned to Kajo. "I'll do it. I'll swear loyalty to you."

Kajo smiled, his eyes warm with welcome. "Then let us begin. Repeat after me: 'I, Elara, swear loyalty to Kajo. I will stand by your side, through battle and peace, and defend our bond with my life.'"

Elara's voice trembled as she spoke the oath, her words binding her to Kajo and his group. As she finished, Kajo placed a hand on her shoulder, his Resonance talent pulsing with warmth.

All her worries and pain left her and she didn't feel any mind control from him. She was totally free!

"Welcome, Elara. You are now part of our family. Together, we'll face whatever challenges may come our way."

The four former invaders stood united, their eyes fixed on Kajo, as the rest of the group looked on, a mix of curiosity and suspicion on their faces.

Kajo smiled as his allies Increased to 23.

Their status appears to him and he was surprised to see that they were nearly the same level as his growing army.

Home at last!
Kajo thought, gazing at his new allies.

Their loyalty bars shone brightly: Elara (90%),
Jax (95%),
Eli (95%),
Ron (95%).

He felt a sense of pride and purpose, knowing they'd found a new family among his growing army.
