"Hey there, I'm Kajo," I said, extending a hand.

"Ah, nice to meet you, Kajo," the Paladin replied with a smile. "I'm Eirak, a Paladin. This is kael, an assassin, Lyrien, a dark mage, and Thrain, a warrior. I'm the teamleader"

As we introduced ourselves, I noticed Saji giving Eirak a death glare, but I brushed it off as his usual irritability.

Eirak and I quickly discovered a shared passion for healing and protection, and our conversation flowed easily. Meanwhile, Saji remained quiet, observing the Paladin with a discerning eye.

When the topic turned to the dungeon, Lyrien spoke up, "It's a Rank D dungeon, infested with metal-clawed giant rats. But we shouldn't have any issues with our combined strength."

Thrain chuckled, "Yeah, we've got a good balance of skills. And with Kajo's healing magic, we'll be untouchable!"

Kael nodded in agreement, "Plus, we've all been trained by experienced mentors. We're not your average adventurers."

I felt a surge of pride knowing that our dads' training had prepared us well. Eirak smiled at me, "I must say, Kajo, I didn't expect a healer to be so... fierce."

I laughed, "Well, skills aren't everything. Sometimes it's about being resourceful and working together."

The group nodded in agreement, and we continued to discuss our strategy for the dungeon. Saji remained quiet, but I could sense his focus, his mind already preparing for battle.

As we finished our discussion, our dads approached us. dad placed a hand on my shoulder. "Remember, Kajo, your healing magic is crucial. Do Keep them in one piece."

Gorm nodded in agreement. "And don't forget, Saji, your element will be more freely used in this dungeon. Use it wisely."

We nodded, and they turned to the others. "Take care of our sons," Thorne said, his voice firm. "They're in your hands now."

Eirak nodded, his expression serious. "We'll protect them with our lives."

With that, we stepped through the portal, leaving the safety of the camp behind. The world around us dissolved into a dark, foggy landscape. The air grew thick with mist, and the ground beneath our feet became damp and uneven.

"Stay close," Eirak whispered, his voice barely audible over the fog's eerie silence. "We need to move swiftly to reach the boss room to take out the boss if you want to get the most experience points."

"That's how we increased our levels faster than others. Let's move out," Thrain said, his voice firm.

Lyrien nodded, his eyes fixed on the path ahead. "I'll take point. My magic can handle any surprises."

Kael, the assassin, fell into step beside him, his eyes scanning the shadows. "I'll watch our backs."

Saji remained quiet, his eyes fixed on the path ahead, his mind focused on the battle to come.

Thrain chuckled, his laughter a brief moment of levity in the oppressive atmosphere. "Let's get this over with. I'm itching for a fight."

I took a deep breath, my hand on the hilt of my sword. "Let's go. We have a boss to defeat."

So, we ventured deeper. And the fog began to clear, revealing twisted, nightmarish trees and gnarled roots that seemed to reach out like skeletal fingers.

The air grew colder, and I could sense the weight of the dungeon's darkness pressing down upon us.

As we journeyed deeper into the dungeon, six Metal-Clawed Giant Rats emerged in the distance. Their status appeared above their heads,

- Metal-Clawed Giant Rat

Amongst the loots are coins. Objects that has no much value inside here. All the coins are Sent to the forge masters, blacksmiths and craftsmen to get something else

The rats charged towards us, their claws swiping wildly. Lyrien, the dark mage, raised his hand, and a dark energy enveloped the lead rat, slowing it down.

Thrain and Kael struck down two rats with swift sword blows. Eirak joined in, taking down another rat with ease.

I watched, ready to heal if needed, but the four hunters worked together seamlessly. They took down the rats one by one, their movements precise and calculated.

After the fight, they stood panting, surveying the aftermath.

Each gulping down MP potions.

"Nice work," Lyrien said, nodding in approval. "Those rats were tough, but we made it look easy."

"How did you guys do that?" Saji asked, eyeing the four of them with admiration. "Your movements were so smooth and coordinated."

Eirak smiled. "It's all about teamwork and practice. We've fought together many times, so we know each other's strengths and weaknesses."

Lyrien nodded. "And we know how to use our abilities to support each other. It's not just about individual strength, but about working together as a team remember."

"Definitely," Thrain agreed. "Saji and Kajo, you two should try taking one down together next time. You'll get experience points."

Saji and I exchanged a look of disdain in our eyes.

They retrieved the loot from the rats' bodies, including Rat Hides, Metal Claws, and Copper Ore.

I nodded, taking their words to heart. Then, i looked forward, ready to face my first monster

After an hour we came across another group of Metal-Clawed Giant Rats. Thrain turned to Saji and then me, a serious expression on his face.

"Alright, you two. Try taking one down together. Remember, work together and use your abilities wisely."

Saji and I nodded, we may have been trained by our dads, but working together was not our strong suit. as we charged at the  monsters, our differences quickly became apparent.

Saji, ever the hothead, charged forward recklessly, swinging his sword wildly. I, on the other hand, tried to use my healing magic to support him, but he was too fast, too unpredictable.

We clashed, our movements uncoordinated, our abilities working against each other. Saji's lightning imbued energy sword sliced through my healing magic, disrupting its effects. I stumbled back, frustrated.

"This isn't working!" I shouted, trying to get Saji's attention.

But he just kept fighting, his eyes fixed on the rat. I tried to adapt, to find a way to work with him, but it was like trying to fit two mismatched puzzle pieces together.

We failed miserably, the rat taking advantage of our disarray to strike back. Eirak and Lyrien stepped in, taking down the rat with ease.

As we stood panting, Thrain shook his head. "You two need to work on your teamwork. You can't just rush in and expect to succeed."

Saji and I glared at each other as we refilled our MP gulping down a vial of potion each. our differences simmering just below the surface. It was clear that we had a long way to go before we could truly work together.

Or maybe not.....
