The weekend couldn't arrive fast enough for Jace. After Mia had agreed to go out with him, he found himself thinking about her constantly. He had promised himself that he would give it everything he had, to make her see how much he wanted to be with her. Jace wasn't one for half-hearted attempts; when he set his mind on something, he went all in.

The following Monday, Jace woke up with a clear plan. He would spend the next week doing everything he could to win Mia's heart. It wasn't about grand gestures or over-the-top displays of affection-it was about showing her the real Jace, the one who was caring, thoughtful, and ready to be there for her in every way.

[Monday: The First Move]

Jace started small. During lunch, he found Mia sitting with her friends, Anna and Jenna, in their usual spot under the large acacia tree in the campus' courtyard.

Gathering his nerves, Jace approached them with a smile, carrying two cups of iced coffee-one for himself and one for Mia. He greeted her casually, handing her the cup.

JACE
"Hey, Mia, I remember you said you liked coffee. Thought you might need a little pick-me-up today."

Mia looked pleasantly surprised, her eyes lighting up as she took the cup.

MIA
"Thanks, Jace. That's really sweet of you."

He sat down beside her, joining in the conversation as if it were the most natural thing in the world. Mia's friends, who had initially been a bit wary of Jace, soon warmed up to him, charmed by his easygoing nature and the genuine interest he showed in their lives.

[Tuesday: Shared Interests]

Jace knew that Mia's passion for dancing was a huge part of her life, so he decided to make an effort to understand it better. After school, he found Mia practicing in the dance studio, working on a routine for an upcoming event. He watched from the doorway for a moment, captivated by the way she moved, before stepping inside.

JACE
(asking) "Hi, Mia. Pwede bang manood?"

Mia, a little out of breath, smiled and nodded.

MIA
"Sure, pero it's just a practice. Nothing too exciting."

To Jace, it was more than exciting. He admired the dedication and precision in each of her movements. When she finished, he applauded, earning a laugh from Mia.

JACE
(sincerely) "You're amazing, I can see how much you love this."

Mia blushed slightly but didn't hide her smile.

They spent the next hour talking about dancing and sports-two different worlds, yet they found common ground in their mutual passion and commitment. Before leaving, Jace asked if Mia would teach him a few moves sometime, and she agreed with a playful grin.

[Wednesday: A Thoughtful Gesture]

Wednesday morning, Mia found a small bouquet of daisies waiting for her on her desk when she arrived at her first class.

Attached was a simple note: "For someone who brightens up every room she enters. - Jace"

Mia couldn't help but smile as she read the note, touched by the gesture. It wasn't about the flowers themselves-it was the thoughtfulness behind them, the way Jace seemed to genuinely want to make her day a little brighter.

MIA
(whispered to herself) "How did he know that this is my favorite flower?"

When she saw Jace later that day, she thanked him warmly. Jace shrugged it off with a smile, but inside, he was thrilled that she appreciated it.

[Thursday: A Quiet Understanding]

Thursday brought with it a quieter, more reflective mood. After school, Jace took Mia to his favorite spot by the river, a secluded area where he often went to think. They sat on a blanket, the gentle sound of the water flowing by as they talked about their hopes, fears, and everything in between.

Mia opened up about her struggles with ADHD and Bipolar disorder, how they sometimes made her feel isolated despite her cheerful exterior. Jace listened intently, his heart aching with empathy. He shared his own pressures, the weight of expectations as the eldest sibling, and his fears of not living up to everyone's hopes.

In that quiet moment, as the sun set behind them, they realized they weren't so different after all. They both carried burdens that no one else could see, and in each other, they found someone who understood.

[Friday: A Sunset Promise]

Friday evening, Jace planned something special. He picked Mia up after school and drove her to a hill just outside town, where the view of the sunset was unparalleled. They arrived just as the sun began to dip below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of pink and orange.

As they sat together, watching the sun set, Jace turned to Mia.

JACE
"Alam ko, this week has been a whirlwind, pero I'm really glad we've spent this time together. I just want you to know na kahit anong mangyari, I'll always be here for you."

Mia looked at him, her eyes softening with affection.

MIA
"I'm glad too, Jace. You've made this week so special, and I... I'm so happy we met."

As the last light of the sun faded, Jace reached for Mia's hand, and she didn't pull away. They sat there, hand in hand, feeling the warmth of each other's presence as the stars began to twinkle above.

[Saturday: A Day in the City]

On Saturday, Jace and Mia spent the day in the city. They explored the local markets, tried out street food, and wandered through art galleries. It was a day filled with discovery, not just of the city but of each other.

Jace learned that Mia had a passion for sketching, something she did in her spare time when she wasn't dancing. Mia discovered that Jace had a hidden talent for painting, something he rarely shared with anyone. They spent hours browsing through the art galleries, sharing their thoughts and dreams.

As the day came to an end, Jace knew that he had fallen for Mia, not just because of her beauty or her smile, but because of the person she was-passionate, kind, and strong.

[Sunday: A Promise Sealed]

The week had flown by, and by Sunday, Jace knew he didn't want it to end. He took Mia to a quiet café, where they spent the afternoon talking about everything and nothing. They shared stories, dreams, and even a few fears.

As they walked out of the café, Jace stopped and turned to Mia.

JACE
"Mia, I know this week was about me trying to win your heart, pero... I think I've ended up giving you mine instead."

Mia looked up at him, her eyes shining with emotion.

MIA
"Jace, this week has been incredible, and you've shown me so much. I... I think I've fallen for you too."

In that moment, under the soft glow of the café lights, Jace and Mia shared their first kiss. It was tender, full of promise and the hope of something beautiful. They knew their time together had been short, but the memories they had created in just one week would stay with them forever.

They had started as two strangers in a school full of people, but in each other, they had found something rare-something that might fade with time, but would never truly disappear.
